Jhanak update Monday 12 May 2025

The episode begins with Jhanak lost in thoughts about Anirudh. Brij enters and invites her to have food. As they talk about Urvashi, Brij shares that he has made kheer for her, recalling that he used to cook for Shrishti. He expresses that a man does everything for love.

Jhanak asks if he still feels the same way about Urvashi, to which Brij admits that he once loved her but now hates her because she rejected him. He encourages Jhanak to focus on her performance, assuring her that no one can perform better than her. He tells her that whatever is meant to happen will, and she should dance freely. She smiles, feeling reassured.

Meanwhile, Lalon, Bablu, and Anjana discuss Appu and Jhanak. Lalon notes that Jhimli should have taken care of Appu, but Jhimli defends herself, saying Appu was determined to find Jhanak. Anjana thanks Kajal for her help. Babbu acknowledges Lalon’s efforts for Jhanak, and Lalon responds that she is like family to him. Anjana expresses concern about a police officer who might be working with Shubh, and Lalon promises to be cautious.

Arshi sees Anirudh and recalls Shrishti’s words. She confronts him about never taking her on drives or paying attention to her. Anirudh, however, remains distracted and lost in thoughts of Jhanak.

Back with Jhanak, she enjoys the kheer and offers Brij some, but he insists she should not eat alone. She tells him that she knows he spent years alone without anyone to care for him, but now she will take care of him. Brij tearfully reflects on his past and regrets not marrying Urvashi. He expresses his feelings of betrayal, blaming Shrishti and Kul Bhushan for ruining his life and turning against him. He vows to seek justice for Urvashi.

Arshi, sensing an opportunity, acts sweetly and says Jhanak was like a sister to her. She insists they should do something for her, but Anirudh remains unsure. Arshi expresses her desire to find Jhanak’s killer, claiming that she cannot stay without Anirudh. She opens up about her psychological struggles, explaining that she joined the competition due to her mother’s pressure. She begs Anirudh to understand her situation and expresses her frustration with his continued focus on Jhanak. She even suggests that if they had a child, it might change things, but Anirudh is left shocked.

A man arrives with a bouquet, telling Jhanak it was sent for her. Brij reveals that the flowers are from Anirudh, wishing her good luck. Jhanak is touched and cries, remembering Anirudh.

Arshi continues to plead with Anirudh, expressing that her depression makes her feel like dying. She confesses her brokenness, feeling invisible to him now. Brij intervenes, comforting Jhanak by explaining that this is what love feels like. He warns her not to cry, urging her not to add more sorrow by leaving him. She insists they should leave, but he explains that it’s not possible, and asks her to eat first. As Jhanak remains stubborn, Brij feeds her the kheer, and she hugs him in gratitude.

Arshi requests Anirudh to take her to the event, to which he hesitantly agrees. Jhanak, however, refuses to eat until Anirudh does. Brij persuades her, and she finally accepts the food.

The drama continues to unfold with emotional moments and tension between love, trust, and the search for justice.
