Anupama update Thursday 15 May 2025
The episode begins with Rahi questioning Anupama about her need to distribute her so-called “greatness Prasad” to everyone. She asks why the team insists on working overtime despite her instructions not to. Anupama explains that the women suffer from “housewife syndrome” like her—they prefer to ensure everything is perfect. She says that a housewife is the last to sleep and the first to wake up, and if anything goes wrong, the entire business could suffer. Rahi urges Anupama to leave or she’ll miss her train and finally find some peace. Anupama offers her some misri (sugar crystals), suggesting she try speaking sweetly, and departs. Just then, a glass breaks. Janki behen watches silently.
At Ansh’s birthday party, his friends arrive. Baa proudly comments that all the men in their family are good-looking, thanks to her. She jokes that the girls are eyeing her, and Pakhi teases her about boys noticing Ishu. Baa warns she’ll break their teeth if they do. Ansh questions who the new boys are, and his friend says they’re cousins and assures him they’re fine. Ansh welcomes them. Mahi, Pari, and Ishu wish him a happy birthday.
Meanwhile, Prem serves mini sugar-free donuts. Mahi excitedly says they’re her favorite. Prem explains he made them instead of cake since they already had some yesterday. He gently feeds her a donut, and Mahi praises his caring nature. Rahi arrives and makes a face. She asks Mahi to prepare something for Ansh and tells Prem to assist with a wedding order. He offers to manage both, but Rahi sternly reminds him he’s her employee, not the Shahs’. He asks her to try the donut, but she refuses and walks away. Mahi, seeing him upset, opens her mouth again, and he feeds her the donut with a smile.
Rahi instructs that the food must be ready by 9 AM the next day. Janki says cooking is their job, and delivery is Rahi’s. Toshu offers to book a tempo, but Rahi insists on delivering it herself. Jigna requests to go home as her husband is unwell. Toshu calls it another excuse, and Rahi refuses to let her leave, telling her to get back to work. Janki says Anupama would’ve let her go. Rahi coldly replies that she’s not Anupama.
Prem brings snacks and juice. Ansh is thankful. Everyone enjoys dancing to a song. Ansh balances a glass of juice on his head, but it almost falls. Prem catches it and hands it back. The others try the same. One of the cousins purposely spills juice on Mahi and quickly apologizes. Mahi says it’s fine and goes to clean up. Baa gets annoyed seeing the broken glass.
As Mahi cleans herself, the same guy follows her and insists on helping clean her dress. When Mahi refuses, he grabs her hand. Shocked, Mahi tries to pull away. Prem arrives just in time and twists the guy’s arm. His friend mocks Prem for being a hero. Prem asserts that girls are heroes in their own stories too. When the guys threaten him, Prem boldly warns them to stay away from Mahi, whom he now openly calls his girlfriend. Ansh’s friend arrives, and Prem tells him about the misbehavior. Embarrassed, the friend asks them to apologize to Mahi and leave. He pleads with Prem not to inform Ansh. When Ansh later questions their sudden departure, his friend makes an excuse and suggests they cut the cake.
Mahi feels touched that Prem declared his love.
Back at the cloud kitchen, Rahi finds Jigna missing. Janki behen informs her that Jigna took her husband to the hospital. Rahi criticizes Jigna, saying she could’ve asked neighbors for help. She argues with Janki and orders everyone to stay up all night and finish the order. Janki remarks again that she’s no Anupama, and Rahi retorts she has no intention of becoming her.
Ansh cuts his birthday cake. Baa says she wants the first bite and he obliges. Mahi feeds cake to Prem, who reminds her he made donuts as a surprise. Pari clears space for dancing. As the party goes on, Rahi returns home, fuming about Janki’s attitude. She notices Prem is still there. As he rushes to make juice, he bumps into her. She scolds him for not being at work. He agrees to go, but she tells him to carry the spice bags. Mahi intervenes, saying she’ll do it. Rahi insists on handling it and accidentally pushes Mahi, who falls.
Mahi accuses her of pushing her deliberately. Rahi claims it was accidental, blaming Mahi for being too fragile. They begin arguing. Mahi taunts Rahi for being educated yet obsessing over Prem. Rahi counters that he’s her chef. As the tension escalates, they spot Anupama’s diary. Mahi demands to know why Rahi has it. Rahi says Anupama gave it to her. They both try to grab it from each other. Prem urges them to stop. Mahi warns Rahi her bossy attitude won’t work, and Rahi accuses her of being insecure because she’s handling the business.
Everyone gathers. Ansh asks them to stop, reminding them his friends are there. Kinjal jokes that Anupama’s only been gone for a few hours, and they’re already fighting. Baa and others try to defuse the situation. Rahi, still agitated, threatens Mahi and raises her hand to slap her. Mahi steps back, and Rahi accidentally slaps Baa instead. Shocked silence falls.
Ansh yells at Rahi. Dolly asks how she dared to touch their mother. Pakhi points out that even Anupama never did this. Everyone sides against Rahi. She insists it was a mistake and begs Baa’s forgiveness. But Baa, hurt, declares she won’t return until Anupama comes back and decides who stays—her or Rahi. She leaves in tears.
Everyone scolds Rahi. Prem quietly watches. Later, Rahi leaves the house, still crying, and narrowly avoids getting hit by a bike. Prem saves her just in time.
At the cloud kitchen, Janki behen informs Rahi that everything is ready and packed. She advises Rahi to check it before the delivery. Rahi, determined, says she’ll handle it all. Janki warns her not to let ego lead to mistakes.
Prem arrives, and Rahi explains she didn’t mean to slap Baa. She says her father didn’t raise her that way. She was under pressure, and while trying to discipline Mahi—whom she sees as younger—things went wrong. But she insists she never intended to hurt Baa.
