Anupama update Tuesday 13 May 2025

The episode begins with Baa asking Rahi what she wants to eat. Rahi suggests making kheer for Radha. Baa agrees. Rahi then whispers to Anupama, calling Baa and Bapuji chameleon-like. Anupama sarcastically responds that while the world may change, they never do—and if there were awards for changing colors, they’d win. She reminds them that although she is Rahi’s mother, Rahi acts like a mother when angry. Anupama advises them to change their behavior before it leads to serious consequences.

Later, Radha and Rahi play together and come to Anupama. Rahi accidentally calls her “Mummy” and asks her to move aside. Baa gets angry seeing Radha wandering, but upon noticing Rahi and Anupama watching, she suddenly shifts her tone and affectionately kisses Radha. Anupama tells Baa to be cautious—Rahi has a worse temper than hers. She adds that Radha will continue to stay with them until Shrishti recovers.

Meanwhile, a female worker informs Prem that she’s leaving. Rahi asks Prem why he looks upset—if he’s sitting outside acting like a “Nazar Bhutto” (a bad omen). Prem replies that he’s disturbed by what’s happening to a mother. Rahi avoids the conversation, but Prem confronts her for changing the name of the kitchen to “Rahi Ki Rasoi” and insulting Anupama. He resigns, saying she may find chefs but never loyal ones like him. He also points out that despite her arrogance, she’s still walking in her mother’s slippers—literally. Rahi looks down and notices she’s wearing Anupama’s sandals. Prem walks away.

Anupama stops him and pleads with him to stay, saying Rahi needs his support, even if she doesn’t realize it. Prem gets emotional and hugs Anupama.

The next morning, Janki tells Rahi that Prem used to handle everything efficiently and wonders where they’ll find a new chef on such short notice. To everyone’s surprise, Prem returns to the kitchen. Janki joyfully hugs him and says they wouldn’t have been able to fulfill orders without him. Prem jokes not to lecture him because he’s busy now. Rahi mentally notes that she’ll tolerate him for now but plans to humble him later. She then assigns work shifts to the women in the kitchen. Janki reminds her that the women are homemakers and will join after their chores. Rahi insists they follow her timings.

Just then, Anupama and Mahi arrive. Rahi instructs them to sign the register. Mahi refuses, saying she isn’t an outsider. Rahi demands she sign or leave. Anupama steps in and tells Mahi that maybe the new rules are beneficial. She tells Rahi that change takes time, comparing it to Rome not being built in a day. Anupama signs the register for everyone and urges them to get to work.

While the team cooks, Prem prepares tea for everyone. Anupama writes a motivational quote on the board, which Rahi reads silently. Janki later shares her concern with Anupama—that there’s a thin line between confidence and arrogance, and Rahi might cross it, which could lead to problems for everyone. Anupama silently prays that Rahi doesn’t fall prey to ego.

Rahi then proudly announces that success will now walk in through the front door. Suddenly, Radha runs in announcing that the police have arrived. Everyone is shocked. The inspector asks for Rahi. Toshu points toward her. The lady constable is sent to bring her in. Rahi is stunned and asks what she’s done. The inspector tells her there’s a complaint of fraud and deceit against her. Anupama tries to reassure her. Rahi accuses Anupama of calling the police and threatens self-harm. She grabs a glass bottle, breaks it, and claims she has always felt like an orphan—even during childhood. Just as she says it’s better to die, Anupama suddenly wakes up. It was all a dream. She wonders why she napped during the day and whether Lord Krishna is trying to send her a sign.

Later, Rahi comes face-to-face with Prem. He silently steps aside. Anupama and Mahi observe. Rahi tells the women their shift is over and they should leave. Janki says their work at home now begins. Anupama adds that the women are also mothers, and after a cup of tea, they’ll head home. Rahi insists this is a workplace, not a tea stall. She tells them to return by 9 a.m. Anupama informs her that she made Shrikhand, as Prem suggested, and kept it in the fridge. Before leaving, she asks Rahi if she can take the board. Rahi nods. Anupama receives a phone call and reacts with shock, saying she’ll come immediately.

Meanwhile, Prem is working out in the cowshed. Mahi brings him almond milk and apologizes that he has to stay there because of Rahi. Prem clarifies that he and Ansh willingly gave up the room. Mahi criticizes Rahi’s behavior, especially in the cloud kitchen. Prem brushes it off and jokes about wanting ice cream. Mahi agrees to get it.

Back at home, Baa serves food to Rahi and praises her hard work. Mahi storms in, furious. She stops Rahi, making her drop the kheer bowl. Mahi accuses her of taking advantage of Baa’s age and misusing her kindness. Rahi retorts that Baa is just as capable of scheming. Mahi calls her selfish for throwing Prem out. Rahi insists it was Prem’s choice, not hers. Mahi demands she listen for once. As Rahi tries to free herself, she pushes Mahi—who falls and hits a pillar. At that moment, Anupama enters and screams, “Rahi!”
