Anupama update Sunday 18 May 2025

The episode opens with Anupama being taken away by the police, leaving Rahi stunned by her selfless act. As emotional music plays in the background, Prem and Ansh try to intervene and stop the officers, but fail. Everyone around is left shocked and speechless. Determined to do something, Prem quickly makes a call, asking for a favor and sharing some details, before hopping on his bike. Ansh joins him.

Back at home, the family turns on Rahi. Toshu blames her, mocking her past ambitions to grow the business and accusing her of destroying it instead. He says the kitchen may have been slow, but at least it was running. Dolly criticizes her for breaking everyone’s trust. Pakhi wonders who would ever give them another order now. Mahi recalls how Rahi had belittled her in the past and tells her to leave the house. Kinjal and Dolly echo the sentiment, insisting Rahi has no place there anymore. Rahi tries to explain that the car wasn’t working, but Pakhi shuts her down, saying they don’t want excuses—only her exit.

Pari tries to defend Rahi, saying anyone can make a mistake, but Kinjal silences her. Dolly fetches Rahi’s belongings, throws them out, and commands her to leave. When Rahi hesitates, Pakhi grabs her arm and shoves her—she stumbles and falls into Prem’s arms as he arrives just in time.

Everyone is surprised to see Prem. Mahi asks why he’s back from the police station. He replies that he came to collect some important documents for Anupama and is glad he did, given the situation. He confronts the family for treating Rahi so harshly.

Toshu mocks him, asking if they should do Rahi’s “aarti” for causing massive financial and reputational damage to Anu Ki Rasoi. Mahi accuses Rahi of playing the victim while they all suffer. Toshu agrees, saying Rahi can’t stay in the house. Dolly adds they should have thrown her out earlier when she disrespected her mother.

Prem defends Rahi, explaining that the tempo couldn’t be contacted that night. Mahi accuses him of defending her blindly, but Prem stays firm and questions why Toshu wasn’t treated the same way when he made mistakes. Toshu argues that no police came for him, but Prem reminds him that doesn’t lessen his failures. As Rahi quietly gathers her things, Prem stops her, stating only Anupama has the right to decide whether she stays or leaves. Toshu and Dolly argue back, but Prem insists Rahi is Anupama’s daughter and has as much right to be there as anyone. Pakhi then says Prem should be thrown out too. Toshu raises his hand at Prem, but Prem stops him.

Rahi walks away to the cloud kitchen, with Prem following her. She locks the door and breaks down in tears, haunted by memories of Anupama taking the blame, of Baa’s anger, Jigna’s accusations, and her own mistakes. She cries, saying, “I’m sorry, Mummy… I’ve made a huge mistake.” Prem gently checks in from outside, and she continues to sob.

At the same time, Mahi prays, asking God why Anupama is suffering for Rahi’s actions. She asks for Anupama to come home. Ansh informs Toshu about the situation. Mahi angrily insists Rahi should be arrested and says she’ll demand her removal, believing even Baa will support the idea.

Back at the kitchen, Rahi calls out to Prem. He reassures her he’s still nearby. Rahi reflects that Anupama always managed everything perfectly and that she had been foolish to think simply taking over the business would make her a leader. Prem reveals a truth: she won that business challenge only because of Anupama’s support. He reminds her how she forgot to prepare the Shrikhand, but Anupama quietly made it for her without saying a word. She’s stunned—Anupama had her back all along, even when she didn’t deserve it. Rahi finally understands the depth of her mother’s love and sacrifice. She breaks down again, saying she wants to run to her and beg for forgiveness.

Prem gently wipes her tears and tells her to wait. He advises her to let Anupama return home first, then face her like a daughter. Mahi overhears their conversation and fumes silently.

Later, Rahi and Prem wait outside the house. The family watches from the doorway. Ansh arrives with Anupama in an auto. Toshu asks if she’s okay. Ansh reports that all the people hospitalized have recovered and been discharged. The police will continue their investigation, but for now, there’s relief. Prem receives a message and smiles—it seems his earlier favor was successful.

Pari and Mahi run to hug Anupama and invite her inside. Prem urges Rahi to go and embrace her mother. Rahi hesitates, afraid she won’t be welcomed. Prem reassures her, saying that even when angry, a mother’s heart remains a mother’s heart.

As Anupama stumbles, the girls support her. Rahi calls out and rushes to her, falling at her feet and begging for forgiveness. Through tears, she confesses her mistakes—her failure to fulfill her responsibilities, her inability to understand Jigna’s situation, and the harm she caused. She holds Anupama’s feet and pleads, promising to repay the ₹10 lakhs and compensate for the damage done.

Anupama doesn’t respond. She walks inside without a word and shuts the door to her room. Rahi is left standing there, crying.
