Advocate Anjali update Sunday 18 May 2025

Padma returns home with food from a bhandara (community meal) for Ganesh. Seeing this, Anjali becomes emotional and asks if their situation has gotten so bad that she now has to feed her father food meant for charity. Padma gently replies that she couldn’t let an elderly man go hungry, no matter what.

Meanwhile, at Nandini’s house, Ginni lies to Nandini, claiming that Sapna returned all her wages and tips, and even gave ₹100 as a gift for Diwali sweets. Nandini finds the story hard to believe. In a flashback, Ginni recalls how Anjali had returned the money herself and confronted her for insulting Sapna. Despite that, Ginni stubbornly insists that the ₹100 gift came from her mother.

Later, Abhay lashes out at Ginni, furious at how she humiliated her own mother and forced her to work as a maid. He tells her that while he always knew she was capable of stooping low for her own gain, he didn’t expect her to fall this far. Nandini steps in to defend Ginni, saying that Ginni only acted under her instruction. Abhay then drops a bombshell, revealing that he saw Sapna out with another woman. Ginni quickly denies it, nervously insisting that her mother went out alone.

Abhay warns Nandini not to trust Ginni, reminding her that Ginni had once tricked him into marrying her and is capable of doing anything for her own benefit. He also admits that he wants to see Anjali again, as she was the first person to confess love to him and she’s the only one he truly loves. Nandini sharply tells him to forget Anjali and focus on Ginni, whom he’s now married to.

Ginni, enraged, calls Anjali and accuses her of trying to break her marriage by making herself visible to Abhay. Anjali flatly denies the accusation. Ginni warns her that she will do everything to protect her marriage and family from Anjali. On the other end of the call, Anjali breaks down, telling Ginni that she doesn’t even have money to feed her parents. She explains that Padma had to bring bhandara food just to feed her father. Ginni mocks her, asking how she plans to afford Ganesh’s treatment. Anjali replies that she will find a way, go to court, and take up any work she can get to save her father.

The next morning, Anjali arrives at the court premises, only to be greeted with humiliation. Several lawyers mock and laugh at her, ridiculing her for thinking she could challenge a top lawyer like Raghav, accusing her of being driven by fame and greed. As she looks for her desk and typewriter, she discovers they’re missing. Just then, Bhajan arrives and coldly tells her he sold them.

Raghav enters with his team, making it clear that Anjali is no longer welcome in the court premises. Desperate, she pleads with him, asking how she will now earn money for her father’s treatment. At that moment, Yuvraj appears, dramatically handing her a bowl and mocking her by saying, “Now beg for a living.” He drops a coin into the bowl and says this is her first alms from him.

Raghav and his team laugh and walk away, leaving Anjali humiliated and in tears. As she stands broken, a man nearby asks her to sit and gently inquires what’s wrong. Through her tears, Anjali explains that she needs money for her father’s treatment and insists that she can only gather evidence against the real culprits if her father recovers.
