Anupama update Friday 23 May 2025

The episode begins with Ansh being repeatedly called by Saloni. He asks her why she keeps calling him. Saloni threatens to involve his family if he doesn’t do what she wants. Ansh denies and tells her that it’s easy to find someone’s home these days. Pari overhears and asks whose call it was.

Ansh lies, saying it was a wrong number, and suggests they continue with their work. Pari, still feeling stressed, offers chocolate to Prem, who declines, telling her to have it instead. She then asks him for whom he is fasting, and Prem responds that it’s for her sister. Mahi, who overhears this, is happy, thinking Prem is fasting for her.

Meanwhile, Rahi is busy serving tea to the workers in the cloud kitchen. Anupama asks her to head home and rest, but Rahi insists on staying, saying she’s used to working and wants to help the team compensate for their losses. Anupama gently advises her to be careful and take things slowly. Deepa informs them that Patel ji’s order is ready, and Rahi volunteers to deliver it. She collides with Prem on her way out, apologizing before leaving. Prem, in a quiet prayer, asks Ram ji to unite him with Rahi.

Anupama inquires about the arrangements for the event, and Prem reassures her that everything is ready. She playfully suggests that it seems like they both unknowingly fasted. Prem smiles, happy at the thought, and dances around as he prepares the vegetables for the event.

As the Vivaah Panchami celebrations begin, Anupama announces the event and reminds everyone that Sita had chosen Ram in her Swayamvar. The crowd is asked to keep their phones away. Prem enters and notices Mahi and Rahi. Rahi, concerned, helps Mahi pin her dupatta and notices that Mahi is feeling dizzy due to fasting. Mahi explains that the day is special for her and Prem, since they are playing the roles of Ram and Sita. Rahi, noticing her discomfort, is unsure about what to do.

As Mahi continues to feel faint, Rahi insists that it is Mahi’s right to play Sita and should not be taken away from her. However, Pari encourages Rahi to step in and take Mahi’s place if she faints. Rahi reluctantly agrees, and Mahi’s condition worsens as she collapses before going on stage. Rahi steps in to save the situation and heads to the stage as Sita.

Dolly and Pakhi question if Rahi did something to Mahi to take her place, but Anupama defends Rahi, asserting that she wouldn’t do such a thing. Meanwhile, the prospective grooms struggle to lift the bow for the ceremony, and when Prem takes his turn, he effortlessly lifts it, breaking the thread and earning praise from the crowd.

Prem and Rahi, dressed as Ram and Sita, walk toward each other holding garlands. The audience praises them, commenting that they look perfect as Ram and Sita. Mahi, still feeling uneasy, arrives and questions why Rahi is on stage. Pari explains that Rahi stepped in to play Sita because Mahi had fainted and couldn’t get up, and although she didn’t want to, Rahi agreed to help.

Rahi and Prem exchange garlands as part of the ritual. Rahi touches Prem’s feet as they continue their roleplay as Ram and Sita, taking the ceremonial rounds with the song “Ram Siya Ram” playing in the background. Anupama smiles and exclaims, “Ram Chandra ki Jai!” Meanwhile, Mahi grows increasingly upset and walks away, followed by Ansh.
