anupama

The episode begins with Anupama locking herself in her room. She reflects on Rahi’s tearful plea for forgiveness, recalling how she said, “You know I didn’t mean to hurt you, please forgive me like always.” Memories of happier moments with Rahi flash through her mind as a soulful song plays.

Outside, Mahi, Pari, Ansh, and others plead with Anupama to open the door. Toshu asks what’s wrong, while Kinjal begs her to come out, saying everyone is worried. Prem tries to calm everyone, assuring them Anupama will be okay. Mahi, however, lashes out and demands Rahi leave the house.

Prem intervenes, insisting only Anupama has the right to decide who stays. Mahi argues that Anupama’s silence is her answer—that she wants Rahi gone. Kinjal responds sharply, saying people who don’t understand emotions can’t understand silence either. She tells Mahi not to jump to conclusions and reminds Rahi that no apology will ever be enough for the pain she’s caused. She says Anupama’s greatest joy was finding Rahi, and now, she’s her greatest sorrow.

Prem adds that Anupama just needs time. Kinjal agrees and leads everyone away, giving her space.

Later, Mahi, still bitter over Prem’s support of Rahi, starts choking while angrily eating. Prem helps her, but she remains upset, silently vowing that Rahi must leave.

Inside her room, Anupama is overwhelmed by memories of the humiliation she endured after her arrest. She misses her mother deeply and yearns for comfort. In her imagination, Kanta appears, gently placing a hand on her head. Anupama rests in her lap, crying, “Take me away from here, I don’t want to stay anymore.” Kanta consoles her, listening as Anupama pours out her heart about her loneliness, her exhaustion, and the crushing weight of unending responsibilities. She says life has constantly pushed her down every time she tried to rise. “Now, I feel like I’ve failed,” she admits.

She blames herself for leaving Rahi in charge while she went to get Bubbly hospitalized. “I should’ve been here. Rahi couldn’t handle it she let pride and resentment get in the way.” She fears she won’t forgive herself if anything happens to Jigna’s husband.

Kanta reminds her of a childhood incident when little Anupama tried to pick up all her toys at once and dropped them. “You’re doing the same now,” she says. “You’re trying to manage everything alone, beyond your limits. That’s why things are falling apart.”

Meanwhile, Rahi vents her frustration by hitting a punching ball. Prem rushes in and hugs her tightly. She tries to pull away, but he holds her. In his imagination, he gently moves her hair aside, kisses her forehead, and hugs her again. Snapping back to reality, he urges her to stop before she hurts herself. Rahi cries, “Let me get hurt, I deserve it. I hurt my mother. I hate her, so she hates me too.”

Prem gently says Anupama is hurt, not hateful. Rahi wonders why being a mother is so difficult Anupama always gave her what she asked, always fulfilled her wishes. Prem encourages her to apologize again, to calm down and try to make things right. He takes down the punching ball and tells her to go to her mother. Mahi watches from a distance, displeased.

Back in Anupama’s room, the imagined Kanta asks, “Are you angry at Rahi?” Anupama says she bore Rahi’s outbursts, gave her the company, fulfilled her demands yet Rahi still couldn’t see how deeply she was loved. “She hurt people just to insult me,” Anupama says. Kanta reminds her: “When she was angry, you wanted to calm her. Now she’s trying to make peace. Either punish her, or forgive her but decide.”

As Anupama’s imagination fades, she sits silently with her thoughts.

Elsewhere, Mahi confronts Prem, demanding to know where he and Rahi were the night before. He calmly replies they were stranded and had no network. Mahi is skeptical, believing Rahi’s tears and apologies are fake. She accuses her of sabotaging the food delivery to tarnish Anupama’s reputation. Prem warns her not to spread such thoughts and says, “I know Rahi’s heart. I trust her.”

Rahi sits outside Anupama’s door, singing “Ungli Pakad Ke…”—a song from their shared past. The family gathers as her emotional singing draws them in. Prem silently hopes the song will open Anupama’s heart. Hearing the melody and Rahi’s sobbing voice, Anupama breaks down and whispers, “Bebli…” She rushes to open the door.

As the door swings open, Rahi sees her mother and immediately collapses at her feet. Anupama catches her just in time, cradling her head in her lap. Prem runs to get water. The entire family stands in stunned silence.
