Anupama update Saturday 17 May 2025

The episode begins with Prem trying to wake Rahi. She regains consciousness and notices her locket, which she thought was stolen, still around her neck. Confused, she asks how it got back to her. Prem assures her it doesn’t matter—what’s important is that both she and the locket are safe. Rahi then notices Prem’s hand and insists he show it to her. She realizes he treated her wounds but neglected his own. Grateful for her safety, Prem silently thanks God.

Meanwhile, Toshu stumbles home drunk. A client calls, asking if the food will be delivered on time. Toshu brushes it off, boasting, “No fear when Toshu is here,” and hopes Rahi manages the situation.

Back with Prem and Rahi, she returns with a medical kit and tends to his injuries. While she’s bandaging his hand, Prem imagines her affectionately kissing it. He offers her coffee made from a packet she brought, and she thanks him for saving her. Jokingly, he asks if she finally sees him as a hero and not just a side character. She teases him, asking whether he got beaten or did the beating. He proudly calls himself a “real-life hero” and asks why she didn’t scream during the attack. Rahi explains the locket was her father’s last keepsake. If she had lost it, it would’ve felt like losing him all over again. She urges him to drink his coffee.

Prem laughs and playfully says she’s the real hero—complete with a milk moustache. He shows her a picture of her laughing. She recalls how everyone in the Ashram would laugh when someone had a milk moustache. They both share a light moment. Prem then turns serious, telling her that when someone faces many hardships, they forget how to laugh. He explains life gives two choices—either cry or confront the situation. He tells her there’s a child within her who’s scared and hides behind a façade of toughness. That’s why, he confesses, he has fallen in love with her. But Rahi, already asleep, doesn’t hear him. Relieved, Prem jokes that she would’ve made “chutney” out of him if she had heard. He softly whispers again, “I love you, Rahi,” but in her sleep, Rahi mutters, “I love you…toffee, Gauri, Kaveri…” making Prem smile.

The next morning, Prem showers flower petals on her to wake her. A song plays in the background. He cheerfully greets her with a “good morning.” Realizing the time, Rahi panics about the food order. Prem reassures her and tells her he fixed the jeep. She urges him to drive, and as they ride, he tries to revisit last night’s conversation. Rahi brushes him off, not realizing he nearly confessed his love. Suddenly, she remembers she forgot to arrange for the tempo to deliver the order. She quickly contacts the driver and asks him to pick up the food. The client calls again, but Prem asks her to answer. Rahi reassures the client the food will arrive hot within 30 minutes.

Elsewhere, Mahi informs everyone that Rahi and Prem were missing all night. Just as Ansh is about to call them, the pair returns. Mahi demands to know where they were. Rahi explains but first checks if the food was picked up. Ansh confirms. Relieved, Rahi hopes the client is satisfied.

Anupama then arrives. Prem warmly greets her, and she moves to touch Rahi’s cheek. Rahi flinches but Anupama gently places her hand on her face, explaining she had gone to Dwarka, to the Ashram. She shares that Bubbly fell ill and was admitted to the hospital. When Rahi asks why she wasn’t informed, Anupama explains she told Vyas Ji not to disturb Rahi as she had responsibilities to fulfill. She reassures Rahi that she took care of everything and even apologizes to Ansh for missing his birthday. He forgives her, understanding her priorities.

Suddenly, Jigna storms in and hurls cow dung at Rahi. Anupama steps in just in time, shielding Rahi and getting splattered herself. Shocked, she demands an explanation. Jigna accuses Anupama and Rahi of betrayal. She says she had asked for only a half-day leave, not money, but Rahi denied her, causing her delay in taking someone to the hospital—who is now in a coma. Janki Behen arrives, trying to calm the situation. Jigna continues her tirade, saying Rahi treats them like servants and doesn’t value their families. Janki adds that while Anupama can make anyone a partner in the business, Rahi’s arrogance has hurt them deeply. She warns that they will no longer work under her and that Anupama made a mistake entrusting her.

The situation escalates when the police arrive. The client from earlier demands Rahi’s arrest. Everyone is stunned. Anupama asks what happened, and the client reveals that several guests from a wedding were hospitalized after eating food from Anu Ki Rasoi. She claims the food was two hours late and caused severe vomiting. Anupama is shocked, saying this can’t be true. Toshu criticizes Rahi, saying she insisted on handling everything herself. Janki and Jigna join in blaming her. Even Mahi questions if Rahi did this to sabotage the kitchen.

The Inspector demands an arrest. Just as Rahi is about to be taken into custody, Anupama steps forward and claims responsibility. She declares herself the co-owner of Anu Ki Rasoi and says the fault lies with her. She admits she should have been there to handle the delivery and apologizes to the client. Rahi is left stunned by Anupama’s gesture. As the police take Anupama away, everyone watches in silence.
