The episode begins with Radha’s father justifying his actions by saying that since his wife is unwell, someone in the family has to work—and Radha is his daughter. Rahi immediately objects, telling him that he should be the one working, not a child. She confronts the woman who came to take Radha, asking if she feels no shame using a small child as domestic help. The woman defends herself, claiming that Radha will just play with her daughter for now, and once her daughter starts school, Radha will do housework.

Rahi questions when Radha will have time for school or her own childhood. The woman coldly replies that poor children don’t get to have a childhood. Anupama firmly disagrees, saying that all children deserve their childhood—it’s just stolen by people like her.

Rahi passionately explains that regardless of wealth, all children share the same innocent dreams: to fly kites, to run freely in open fields, to rest their heads in their mother’s lap. But these experiences are denied when others exploit them and separate them from their families.

The woman argues that the parents are paid for the arrangement. Anupama counters, saying that while parents get money and employers get servants, the children are robbed of everything. She and Rahi continue confronting the woman and Radha’s father. Anupama accuses him of failing in his duty as a father. The woman warns Anupama not to interfere in their personal matters. Anupama responds that protecting a child is a societal duty—not a private one—and she would do the same for any child, even her enemy’s.

Anupama reminds them that child labor is illegal and unethical. She calls out the hypocrisy of people who follow laws abroad but ignore them at home. She points out how privileged children grow up spoiled while poor children carry their bags, crave their clothes, and are forced to work rather than play or study.

Rahi condemns Radha’s father for betraying his daughter’s trust. “To a child, her father is a superhero,” she says, “but you’ve chosen to become a villain.” Anupama challenges the woman again—why does she follow rules in foreign countries but disregard them in India? Rahi adds, “You may be educated, but you’re morally ignorant.” Anupama advises her to invest her money in educating underprivileged children instead of exploiting them.

Meanwhile, back home, Pakhi tells Toshu to call Radha’s father and send her away again. Toshu brushes it off, confident that Anupama and Rahi will return empty-handed. Dolly mentions that Prem said they went to bring Radha back.

Back on the street, the woman argues that Radha will be safer in her home than with her irresponsible father and questions whether Anupama is willing to take full responsibility. Radha’s father adds that he only called the woman because Toshu told him to take Radha away and her mother is in the hospital. The woman asks again, “Will you take responsibility for this child?”

Later, Anupama and Rahi return home. Pakhi breathes a sigh of relief that Radha isn’t with them. Toshu tells Anupama he did the right thing and that Krishnakunj shouldn’t be turned into an orphanage. Just then, Radha joyfully enters holding balloons. Prem lifts her in his arms and shows her the shoes he bought her.

Anupama remembers how Radha’s father tried to forcefully take her back and mocked Anupama for talking big. In response, Anupama had slapped him and warned that if he ever came near Radha or Shrishti again, she would have him arrested.

Toshu and Pakhi criticize Anupama for bringing Radha back. Pakhi says Radha is a nuisance. Dolly complains she can’t even sleep. Anupama fires back, accusing them of knowingly sending Radha back to her abusive, alcoholic father. Toshu argues that he is still her father. Rahi interrupts, revealing that Radha’s father was trying to sell her into child labor and had already accepted money.

Toshu says that at least Radha would learn something useful. Anupama retorts, saying if that logic worked, she should’ve sent Toshu to work as a child—maybe then he’d have grown up more responsible. She adds that working at home by choice is different from being forced to work in someone else’s house out of helplessness.

An unexpected call from Janki Behen shocks Anupama—Shrishti has slipped into a coma. She had been recovering, but now the doctors say there’s no way to know when she might wake up.

Baa says she doesn’t have an issue with Radha, but raising a child is a big responsibility. Ishu points out that if Radha gets hurt, someone will have to take the blame. Anupama says she’ll talk to Janki Behen. Rahi declares she will take responsibility for Radha until Shrishti recovers, including dropping her to school and picking her up.

Pakhi argues that raising a child isn’t easy. Kinjal questions why they took on such a burden. Ishu says the house is already too crowded. Pakhi adds that Rahi and Prem already joined the family, and now Radha too? Rahi insists Radha can stay in her room. Pakhi points out that it’s Ansh’s room.

Rahi explains she’s raised kids at the orphanage and wants to care for Radha until her mother gets better. Anupama hesitates, saying Rahi is being driven by emotion. She reminds her that running an orphanage was different—she had a team and no business obligations. Anupama says they’ve recently faced major business losses, and Rahi is needed there. Rahi insists they’ll manage together—she, Anupama, and Prem. She pleads with her mother not to separate her from Radha, saying Radha gives her a sense of belonging and fills the emotional void left by Dwarka.

Prem volunteers to help with Radha too. Anupama warns that while she forgave Rahi’s business mistakes, she won’t forgive any mistake involving Radha. She tells Rahi to think ten times before committing. Rahi confirms she’s thought it through and is ready to take full responsibility. Anupama agrees—until Shrishti recovers, Rahi will care for Radha, and the whole family will support her. They hug, while Mahi watches, feeling left out and troubled.

Later, Rahi plays with Radha, blowing bubbles with her. Meanwhile, Mahi sulks in the kitchen, preparing tea angrily. Prem enters, trying to lighten her mood and cheer her up. He gently asks if she was crying. Mahi denies it. Prem encourages her to share what she’s feeling.

Mahi finally opens up, saying Rahi made a huge mistake, yet Anupama forgave her. She accuses Rahi of manipulating her mother’s emotions. Mahi recalls how shattered Anupama was when Rahi ran away and says she stood by Anupama during that time. Prem gently asks if she’s feeling angry—or jealous. Mahi confesses that she’s scared. She fears that if a situation arises where Anupama has to choose between her and Rahi, she’ll choose Rahi. Prem reassures her that while Anupama may have adopted her, she loves her deeply and equally.
