The episode begins with Shrishti requesting Shubh to help her with the legal case. She asks about his legal fees, but Shubh assures her that he won’t charge anything, saying he’s just doing his duty and also because they are family. Shrishti insists on paying, offering to sell her jewelry and assets. Shubh refuses and says that since her daughter is his daughter-in-law, he will handle everything. He adds that Anirudh will eventually see Jhanak’s true face.

Shrishti agrees and expresses her desire for Anirudh and Arshi to start afresh. She plans to expose Jhanak’s supposed greed, claiming Jhanak won’t be able to face Anirudh or the court. She urges Shubh to do whatever is needed to disgrace Jhanak and make Anirudh hate her. Shubh assures her that he’s in a rush to expose Jhanak and that it won’t take long. Satisfied, Shrishti leaves.

Elsewhere, Choton tries to convince Mrinalini to come home. She hesitates, saying it’s not the right time to talk about marriage. Choton jokes about kidnapping her if she doesn’t give her consent. Mrinalini says Jhanak’s life is complicated and uncertain, especially with Anirudh. They agree that Bablu and Anjana love Jhanak deeply. Mrinalini reflects that everyone carries a past and Arshi may never allow Jhanak to live peacefully. She adds that Arshi’s resentment isn’t wrong—no girl would tolerate another woman in her partner’s life.

Choton defends Jhanak’s sincerity and says that despite everything, she has a good heart. They continue discussing the complicated triangle of Anirudh, Arshi, and Jhanak. Mrinalini suggests that truth cannot stay hidden forever, even if people try to manipulate it. As they shift focus from Jhanak to themselves, Choton jokingly complains that no one is paying attention to their marriage. Mrinalini says once Jhanak’s case is over, they’ll find an auspicious date. He playfully insists he’s getting old and wants to marry soon.

Choton confesses his love again and proposes with a rose, declaring publicly that he’s going to marry Mrinalini. She smiles, accepts the rose, and they walk away hand in hand.

The next morning at court, Shrishti and her family arrive and face public ridicule. Shubh tells Shrishti to ignore the onlookers. Meanwhile, Anirudh, Jhanak, and Brij also arrive. Arshi watches them and confronts Anirudh for standing by Jhanak. Anirudh firmly tells her that he will support Jhanak in this fight for truth.

Arshi lashes out at Jhanak, but Jhanak calmly responds, praising Anirudh’s integrity and refusal to lie. The confrontation escalates until Jhanak puts Arshi in her place, declaring she is no longer the helpless girl they once knew. Shrishti intervenes, reminding Arshi of her status and dignity, but Anirudh mocks her for always talking about “standard.”

Tensions rise as Bipasha and Tanuja enter the argument. Anirudh questions their presence, noting that his father takes on many cases and this shouldn’t be treated any differently. Brij defends Jhanak and criticizes the others. When Arshi continues to insult Jhanak, Jhanak fires back, telling her to focus on her own life and stop obsessing over her. Brij interrupts and says that Shrishti fears Jhanak’s talent. He then escorts Jhanak into the courtroom.

Shrishti stops Anirudh, questioning why he prevented Arshi from leaving their home. He clarifies that his conflict is with Shrishti, not Arshi, and reiterates his support for Jhanak. Meanwhile, at home, Appu is eager to find out what happened in court and decides to surprise Jhanak by going there.

Inside the courtroom, the hearing begins. Shubh and Depashish present their arguments. Depashish explains to the judge that the case is unique and complex, involving two women from the same family. He refers to them as X and Y. Shubh cuts in, urging everyone to focus solely on the truth and not get lost in logic. Depashish then asks him to name the involved parties, and the court session progresses.
