The episode begins with Shubh inviting Debashish to take a seat. He starts presenting his argument, stating that Shrishti and Urvashi were cousins. Shrishti, he claims, comes from a respectable family and is a renowned dancer who needs no introduction. She moved to Delhi to enroll in a dance academy.

After Urvashi’s parents died in an accident, she started living with her uncle’s family, growing up alongside Shrishti. Shubh alleges that Urvashi always aspired to be like Shrishti and pursued similar dreams, including enrolling in the same dance academy.

Jhanak interrupts, objecting strongly. She insists that Urvashi was a gifted dancer in her own right and scolds Shubh for making baseless assumptions about her mother’s character. She calls his remarks insulting both to her mother and the court.

Debashish supports Jhanak’s objection, asking Shubh how he knows these details. Shubh defends himself, saying the information is based on circumstantial evidence, and then mocks Jhanak. Anirudh steps in, asserting that everyone has a right to speak and supports Jhanak and Urvashi.

Continuing, Shubh says that both Shrishti and Urvashi trained under Brij. While Shrishti focused on learning dance, Urvashi allegedly developed a romantic interest in their teacher, Brij. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Anuradha is seen explaining something to Appu

. Kajal enters, visibly distressed, and mentions she’s in trouble. Appu connects her anxiety to Kajal’s ex-boyfriend, Tappan. Anuradha grows concerned and presses Kajal for details. Kajal says Tappan, who was jailed due to Lalon’s complaint, is now free and threatening her. She seeks help from Lalon.

Anuradha senses something more and questions Kajal about her past feelings for Lalon. Kajal denies having romantic intentions, but Anuradha suspects otherwise. Appu overhears their conversation and becomes emotional.

Back in court, Shubh continues his testimony. He says Shrishti eventually returned to Srinagar, married Vinayak, and had a daughter, Arshi. She decided to resume her dance training under Brij and was shocked to find Urvashi already living in Brij’s house as his wife. Jhanak immediately objects, calling the story a complete fabrication. Brij also challenges Shubh to provide proof. The judge intervenes and asks everyone to maintain order.

Debashish urges calm and says he is listening closely to Shubh. Shubh maintains he will provide evidence and expects Debashish to do the same when the time comes.

Meanwhile, Anuradha confronts Kajal again, trying to understand why she’s so scared of Tappan. Kajal explains that he has threatened her and wants to marry her, but she wants Lalon’s protection. Anuradha advises her to be truthful and reminds her that Appu is the daughter-in-law of the house. Kajal apologizes for holding Lalon’s hand. Appu is heartbroken and walks away. Jhimli notes her sadness, and Appu says she just misses Jhanak.

Shubh then claims that after learning Urvashi had a child, Shrishti told her family, and later it was believed the child—Jhanak—had died. He questions how Jhanak is alive now and suggests that rumors of Shrishti having two daughters—Arshi and Jhanak—are baseless.

He asserts that Shrishti has filed a defamation case to protect her reputation and insists that Arshi is her only daughter. Anirudh holds Jhanak’s hand in reassurance. Debashish stands up, saying he would like to respond to Shubh. The judge announces a 10-minute recess.

Outside the courtroom, Choton expresses concern, and Mrinalini tries to reassure him, stating that Shubh is manipulating the judge. Lalon updates them that Brij and Jhanak are anxious, and Debashish hasn’t yet presented any strong rebuttal. Mrinalini steps away for a moment.

Meanwhile, Bipasha tells the family that she has called Arshi. Tanuja says she’s embarrassed by the situation, while Lal praises Shubh’s efforts and expresses confidence that Shrishti will win the case. Arshi arrives, and Tanuja apologizes for earlier issues. Arshi questions why she was called. Bipasha tries to boost her morale, saying Jhanak will be out of their lives soon, but Arshi disagrees. Tanuja then suggests they could disown Anirudh. Arshi, focused on her mother’s reputation, says she just wants Shrishti to be proven innocent.

As court resumes, Debashish makes his case. He states that Urvashi kept many truths from Jhanak and that this case is a battle between two women with different values—Shrishti and Urvashi. He explains that although Urvashi was emotionally vulnerable, she did everything she could to raise Jhanak well and protect her from societal judgment.

He then reveals a shocking twist: Brijbhushan and Kulbhushan are twin brothers. Shrishti, he claims, took advantage of the situation by enlisting the help of the fake Brij and hiding the real one.

Debashish says he has evidence and outlines that Brij had genuinely loved Shrishti and wanted to marry her. Shrishti, however, had allegedly manipulated him—telling him she didn’t believe in marriage but marrying him in secret just to keep him emotionally close. Shrishti calls this a lie. Debashish insists he has proof. The judge asks him to present it.

Debashish says he wants to share the full story before presenting the proof. According to him, after marrying Vinayak and having Arshi, Shrishti still yearned to return to dancing. She went back to Brij for training and discovered Urvashi there. He claims Shrishti manipulated Brij into thinking she still loved him, which led to another pregnancy—resulting in the birth of Jhanak. She then allegedly kept this hidden from Vinayak.
