Saras and Kumud update Friday 16 May 2025

The episode begins with Ghuman telling Kusum that she has not only found a place in Danny’s heart but also in his bank accounts. Kumud immediately supports Kusum, while Saras clarifies that Kusum only desires Danny’s love. Ghuman dismisses Kusum’s intentions, claiming that she’s clever, but that Danny will never belong to her. She urges Danny to come with her to Dubai, but he stands firm. Danny refuses to leave Kusum and says, “If you want to go, you can go, but I won’t leave my Kusum.”

Ghuman insists, asking if this is Danny’s final decision. Danny confirms it is. Ghuman, with tears in her eyes, warns Danny that if she leaves alone, it will be for good. She demands he choose between her and Kusum. Danny, in turmoil, pleads, “Mom, please.” Ghuman presses for an answer, asking if Kusum is more important than her. Danny remains silent, and Ghuman declares, “I have my answer. I’ll consider I never had a son.”

Kumud steps in, telling Ghuman that as a mother, she has every right to be upset, but she shouldn’t leave. Kusum, with deep respect, says that no one can love a son more than his mother, and if it means leaving the house for Danny’s happiness, she will. Danny is shocked and pleads with Kusum not to leave, but she insists, saying she can’t live with the thought of coming between him and his mother. She says, “I’ll go, Danny, but if it’s the only way for you to find peace, then I will.”

Kumud agrees with Kusum, explaining that this difficult decision will bring peace to everyone eventually. Kusum, with tears in her eyes, bids goodbye, trusting Danny will eventually make peace with the situation. Kalika watches from a distance, content with the turmoil unfolding.

Vidyachatur, worried about what’s happening, hopes Ghuman will forgive them. Kalika, however, smiles, knowing that things are just getting started. Kabir arrives, delivering good news about a consignment, but is soon met with the tension in the house. He asks Vidyachatur why everyone looks so upset. Vidyachatur explains the situation with Ghuman, and Kabir, understanding the situation, continues with his work.

Kusum arrives back at the Desai household with her luggage, shocking everyone. Ghuman is resolute, informing Danny that she’s preparing divorce papers so she can find him a new bride. Danny stands his ground, declaring Kusum is his wife and that he will never be separated from her. Ghuman accuses Kusum of using Danny, claiming he was never her first choice. Danny defends Kusum, insisting that she is his first and only choice.

Guniyal, concerned, asks Kusum what happened. Kusum breaks down in tears and embraces her. Meanwhile, the phone rings, and Badimaa learns from Kumud that Ghuman has forced Danny to choose between her and Kusum, leading Kusum to leave the house. Vidyachatur is upset, knowing that Ghuman is pressuring Danny, but Kalika seems pleased. Badimaa expresses her concern and recounts how Ghuman had taunted her when she spoke up about Kusum.

Ghuman, in her car, drives off, and Kabir appears in front of her, halting her. She asks why he’s blocking her way, and Kabir insists he needs to know where she’s headed. Ghuman, visibly irritated, tells him to move. Kabir asks if she’s truly okay, acknowledging that Danny’s choice must have hurt her. He offers her a handkerchief, but she pushes him away, saying she’s not weak. Kabir, however, continues to show concern for her, saying he can’t bear to see her suffer. Ghuman looks at him, her emotions conflicted.
