Saras and Kumud update Saturday 17 May 2025

The episode begins with Danny blaming himself for Kusum’s departure. Saras agrees with Danny’s self-criticism, adding that it was Ghuman’s manipulation that caused Kusum’s pain. Saras questions why Danny didn’t support Kusum, asking him how he would choose between Saraswati Maa and Kumud. Danny responds that he would choose the one who is right, but Saras insists that Danny must support the truth. Danny resolves to bring Kusum back, but Ghuman intervenes, stating that it’s not necessary. She then unexpectedly brings Kusum back to the house.

The family is shocked as Ghuman arrives with Kusum, explaining that she couldn’t bear to see Danny upset. Kusum is overjoyed to see that Danny was waiting for her, and she hugs Ghuman. Danny thanks Ghuman and hugs her, expressing his gratitude. He tells her not to punish him like this again, as he cannot choose between his family members. Ghuman silently observes, knowing that Danny will have to make a choice eventually.

Meanwhile, Guniyal informs Vidyachatur that Ghuman has brought Kusum back, offering sweets to everyone. Badi Maa is skeptical, and Kalika wonders what Ghuman’s next move might be. As Saras contemplates Ghuman’s actions, Kumud notices his deep thoughts and asks him what he is thinking. Saras admits that he doesn’t trust Ghuman, as her sudden change of heart seems suspicious. Kumud suggests giving her a chance, just like Saras did with Kabir. Saras insists he can’t trust Ghuman, but Kumud encourages him to have faith, telling him they need to visit Kaka in the hospital.

Later, Ghuman is jogging when her thoughts are interrupted by her encounter with Kabir. Kabir thanks her for agreeing to his earlier discussion and wonders about the strange connection between them. Ghuman is annoyed by his persistence but brushes him off as he offers to give her a ride home. Kabir insists on helping her, but Ghuman refuses. He watches her leave, pondering the situation.

At home, Kusum and Kumud call their husbands for breakfast. The two couples eat quickly, and Kusum remarks how similar they are. Danny jokes that’s why he married both sisters. Ghuman then arrives, suggesting they have lunch together, and Kumud agrees. Ghuman specifically requests Kusum’s cooking, as she considers it Kusum’s first day at the house. Kusum happily agrees to cook, and the family prepares to leave for the office afterward.

While Kusum is cooking, Ghuman interferes by forcing Kusum to use a specific oil, despite Danny’s known allergy to it. Ghuman suggests that she help, but Kusum politely declines. Ghuman secretly watches Kusum as she prepares the food, her intentions unclear. Later, when the food is served, Danny begins eating, but soon starts coughing uncontrollably. Saras asks what’s wrong, and Danny explains that he’s having an allergic reaction. Kusum realizes that the food was cooked with peanut oil, which Danny is allergic to. Ghuman, shocked, exclaims, “What?” as the tension builds.
