Saras and Kumud update Saturday 24 May 2025

The episode begins with Kumud asking Saras not to apply Holi colors to her. Saras playfully responds, saying that he has every right as her husband to do so, and teases her by saying she must come to him, or he will apply it himself. Kumud stubbornly refuses, warning him that if he touches her, she won’t talk to him. He agrees, but reminds her of the time when he applied Haldi to her. Kumud protests, saying she won’t come near the pool and insists there will be no colored water or throwing of colors. Saras, with a teasing smile, says that his love for her is his promise, and he will keep it. He gets closer to her, and she smiles, running away from him.
Meanwhile, Kabir speaks to a doctor about Laxminandan’s condition. The doctor advises that Laxminandan won’t regain consciousness soon, but Kabir insists that he remains in a vegetative state for now, as if Laxminandan wakes up, it could ruin his plans. Kabir is confident that this time fate will not deceive him.
Back with the Holi celebrations, Kusum runs from Danny, who catches her and colors her with Holi powder. Ghuman watches the scene from a distance. Saras beats the dhol, signaling the start of the festivities, and everyone joins in for the celebration. Kumud smiles as she watches Saras, and O Piya plays in the background. Kumud throws color at Saras and playfully runs around him, while Saras and Danny share a joyful hug. Kumud, however, tries to avoid getting colored and runs off.
Everyone is happy as they celebrate, with Vidyachatur wishing Guniyal a happy Holi and remarking that it’s their 25th Holi together. Badimaa also joins the fun, but refuses to let anyone color her. Kusum tries to apply color to her, but Badimaa declines. Saras hugs Badimaa warmly. Ghuman observes Saras and smiles at the festivities. Kabir approaches Ghuman, applying color to her and wishing her a happy Holi, much to her surprise. He gives her something, and Danny takes Kabir away with him. Saras also applies color to Kabir, sharing a friendly hug.
Kalika, seeing Ghuman, decides to apply color to her, but Ghuman leaves before Kalika can. Yash’s mother tries to convince her son to apply color to Ghuman, but Vidyachatur suggests a small tika instead. Everyone applies color to Ghuman and shouts in unison.
Ghuman, in a secretive moment, mixes something in a glass, which Kumud notices. The packet falls, and Kumud asks Ghuman if she needs anything. Ghuman lies, and Kabir quickly covers the packet, handing it back to her. He remarks that she hardly ever thanks him, and Ghuman simply nods.
Saras, still waiting for a chance to apply Holi colors to Kumud, is determined. Kalika brings jalebis for Ghuman, but Ghuman doesn’t accept them. Kalika, unfazed, brings another offering of Phapdra, which Ghuman declines as well. Kabir signals Ghuman, and she mixes more powder into the bhaang.
Vidyachatur, enjoying the festivities, invites everyone to have food. Ghuman then asks Danny to bring the camera from the house, and he agrees, leaving her with a smile. Kabir, in the background, reminds Ghuman that their plan is unfolding perfectly.
Ghuman sends Kusum to wash her hands, and while Kusum is distracted, Ghuman offers her a glass of thandai. Kusum, feeling disoriented, drinks it and begins to laugh, remarking that everything seems to be quadrupled in her vision. Ghuman reassures her that she’s fine and questions why Kusum hasn’t yet colored Saras. Kusum, with a secretive smile, admits that she hasn’t applied color to Saras because she doesn’t want to hurt Danny again. Ghuman encourages her to go and apply color to Saras, telling her to apologize and express her love for Danny. Kusum, though unsure, agrees.
Meanwhile, some kids approach Kumud, claiming that Saras is hurt. Worried, Kumud rushes to him, but Saras reveals with a grin that the kids were just playing a prank. He shows her the colors in his hands and teases her, saying that he kept his promise of not applying color with his hands, but he gently applies color to her face with the color from his cheeks. As “Mann ke dor” plays in the background, Kumud smiles and closes her eyes, touched by his gesture. Saras wishes her a happy first Holi as Mrs. Saraswatichandra, and they share a sweet hug. As Kumud runs away playfully, Saras watches her with a joyful smile.
