Saras and Kumud update Wednesday 21 May 2025

The episode begins with Kusum lighting candles in the room, wearing a gown, and waiting eagerly for Danny. She smiles as she hears the sound of a car approaching. Ghuman, too, waits with anticipation, expecting a major reaction. Saras and Danny arrive at the house, and Saras receives a confirmation message that the clients liked Danny’s presentation.

He smiles, saying it’s a happy day, and suggests that Kumud make Gulab Jamun. Ghuman then asks Danny if he is still upset with her, apologizing for her actions. Danny responds, “It’s okay, Mom,” but Ghuman insists that she has a terrible headache and asks him to bring her some medicine. Danny heads off to get it, while Saras calls out to Kumud. Ghuman assumes Kumud is in Kusum’s room, so Saras heads in that direction.

Saras enters Kusum’s room and is surprised to see the romantic setup. Kusum, thinking it’s Danny, hugs Saras and says, “I love you, Danny.” Saras is taken aback and says, “Kusum, it’s me.” Kusum realizes her mistake, exclaiming, “Saras… I thought…” She turns around and sees Danny standing at the door, visibly shocked and upset.

Danny is hurt by what he witnessed and refuses to listen to Kusum. Saras, confused, asks why she’s acting this way. Danny, trying to mask his feelings, says he’s fine and walks out. Kusum, now in tears, goes to her room, blaming herself for her mistake. She wonders why she always hurts Danny, feeling like she keeps making the same errors. She tries to call Danny, but he ignores her. She cries, asking why he won’t talk to her.

Danny, torn by the situation, breaks down, remembering Ghuman’s words. He becomes consumed by thoughts of Kusum’s love for Saras and grows increasingly upset. Meanwhile, Kusum continues to try reaching him, but Danny throws her phone away in frustration. Saras tries calling Danny, but his calls go unanswered. Saras, deeply concerned, wonders what’s going on and decides to inform Kumud, but then hesitates, unsure of how to explain the situation to her.

At home, Danny continues to avoid Kusum. She pleads with him, explaining that she decorated the room and made his favorite food to surprise him, but Danny doesn’t respond. Ghuman watches from a distance, pleased with the tension between them. Kusum, almost begging, asks Danny to look at her, but Danny responds coldly, saying, “Don’t touch me.

I don’t want anything from you. Stay away from me.” Kusum tries to explain herself, but Danny accuses her of deceiving him. “I thought you’d moved on from your past,” he says bitterly. “But now I see the truth. Saras is your love. If I mean nothing to you, why did you do all this for me?” Kusum is devastated, unable to find words to defend herself.

Danny goes on to say that Ghuman was right, that she had fooled him to stay in the house. Saras and Kumud arrive just in time to hear Danny’s cruel words. Saras, shocked and enraged, slaps Danny, who responds harshly, calling Kusum Saras’s “Uttaran” (leftover). Both Saras and Kumud are left stunned, while Kusum breaks down in tears.

Saras, furious, demands to know what has gotten into Danny, but he leaves, ignoring everyone. Ghuman, watching from the sidelines, silently revels in her success as her plan seems to be working. Meanwhile, Danny speaks to Kabir, telling him that he’s ready to make a name for himself.

He vows to take control of the project and prove himself, even if it means going against Saras. Saras, deeply troubled, explains the situation to Kumud. He tells her that Danny’s behavior was strange, and he’s not sure why he’s reacting the way he is. Kumud, understanding Ghuman’s manipulative tactics, realizes that she’s the one who has caused this rift.

Ghuman, pleased with the chaos she has caused, remains silent as Kumud confronts her. Kumud angrily asks Ghuman why she would do such a thing, manipulating Danny into believing lies and turning him against Saras and Kusum. Ghuman denies it, but Kumud calls her out, reminding her of the many lies she’s told and how much pain she’s caused. “You made Danny believe that Kusum still loves Saras, and you hurt him deeply. How could you stoop so low?” Kumud says. Ghuman, finally losing her cool, snaps, “Enough, Kumud!”
