Advocate Anjali update Wednesday 28 May 2025

The episode opens with Inspector Pankaj’s subordinate, Vidyut Kashyap, beating up a car driver responsible for Ganesh’s accident. After roughing him up, Vidyut lets the man go with a warning. Pankaj walks in and confronts Vidyut, questioning why he released the accused without initiating any legal action. Vidyut, feeling insulted, argues back. Pankaj demands to know whether he even checked whose vehicle was involved. Vidyut admits he didn’t.

Pankaj informs him that the vehicle belongs to a shell company linked to Chandrabhan Thakur and insists this isn’t just an accident — it’s an attempted murder case that Anjali will easily prove in court. Vidyut tries to dismiss Pankaj’s concerns by stating that Anjali won’t take the case since she now works under Raghav.

Pankaj doesn’t let up and brings up another serious issue: Vidyut was at a wedding on August 9th and falsely backdated an entry for Yuvraj in the station’s general diary. Now visibly nervous, Vidyut is caught trying to text Yuvraj, but Pankaj snatches the phone. Vidyut deletes the message and storms off, claiming Pankaj has no evidence against him.

Meanwhile, Raghav senses Yuvraj’s anxiety about the upcoming court proceedings in Padma’s case and Anjali’s possible actions. Yuvraj worries that Anjali may act against them, but Raghav is confident she’s indebted to him and will only appear in court as his subordinate, if at all. Nandini echoes Yuvraj’s fears, but Raghav reassures them both that he has legal strategies and influence in place to neutralize Anjali. He belittles Anjali’s ability to pose any threat.

Trying to rattle her, Yuvraj calls Anjali and smugly tells her that Raghav has already “tamed the lioness,” implying she’s now under their control. But Anjali counters with fierce determination, promising that she will make Yuvraj pay when the time comes.

Sapna overhears and asks Anjali who she was speaking with. Anjali tells her it was Yuvraj, prompting Sapna to advise her not to give him attention. Anjali, however, is resolute and unwilling to back down. Just then, Padma enters and tells Anjali that journalists are outside, questioning whether she’s truly committed to getting justice. Rumors are flying that Anjali, like her father, has compromised her integrity. But Anjali remains calm, saying that while she doesn’t care about public gossip, she does care about her father’s reputation. Ramesh watches this exchange from a distance and talks emotionally.
