Anupama update Friday 30 May 2025

The episode begins with Ansh approaching Prem and asking what’s wrong. Prem brushes it off, saying nothing is wrong. Ansh notices Prem passing time by playing with a ball and asks if he came from outside. Prem replies that he’s having trouble sleeping.

Ansh shares that he had met friends earlier but is wary of dating sites, having decided never to date online again after a bad experience. He then asks Prem if he has ever been in love. Prem admits he has met many girls but never truly fallen in love because, to him, love means being willing to die for one another—something he believes most girls don’t understand. Prem says that while he might sound idealistic, it’s the truth, though no one believes him.

Ansh reassures Prem that he trusts him completely and compares him to Anuj Dadu, saying if Anu Maa trusts him, he must be trustworthy. Ansh mentions hearing many stories from Rahi about the deep love between Anu Maa and Anuj Dadu, noting how girls admired Anuj Dadu even in his middle age.

Curious, Ansh asks what kind of girl Prem wants. Prem describes the qualities he desires, and Ansh jokingly says that sounds exactly like Rahi—a one-of-a-kind girl—and in that case, Prem will remain a bachelor forever. Ansh then leaves, while Prem quietly confesses to himself that he only wants Rahi, no one else.

The next day, Anupama reminds everyone that breakfast must be delivered on time. She explains that Rahi went to get milk for making ghee, and asks Prem to pack the food. Anupama thinks about Mahi’s earlier words and feels worried. Meanwhile, Rahi reflects that she purposely stepped out to avoid facing Prem since he hasn’t called her all morning.

Prem checks on Anupama and asks if she’s feeling alright, but she suddenly faints. People gather around her, and Prem tries calling Rahi. When Rahi answers, she bluntly tells Prem she doesn’t want to talk and demands he not call her again before hanging up. A doctor arrives and diagnoses Anupama’s fainting as stress-related. Mahi offers to take care of the work, insisting Anupama rest.

Prem approaches Rahi, who coldly remarks that since she didn’t talk to him, he must have come on his own. Prem informs her about Anupama’s condition, prompting Rahi to rush off, leaving behind the milk can and her phone. Prem says he’ll take care of the rest, so she should just focus on Anupama. Pakhi comments that if a love triangle develops, Anupama will be caught in the middle.

Later, Rahi confronts Prem, telling him she has the answer to his question. Prem, hopeful, thinks the gods have heard him and his love story is about to begin. But Rahi stuns him by saying she doesn’t love him. She apologizes and explains that it’s not because there is anything wrong with him, but because love is complicated and she isn’t ready for it.

She says her life is finally on track after a long time and she doesn’t want to get caught up in a “love rollercoaster.” She wants a friend, not a lover, calling herself someone who needs a “saarthi” (guide), not a “saathi” (partner). Rahi admits she didn’t trust Prem at first, but now she trusts him more than herself. She says Bubbly is her friend, but Prem is her only true friend here, and pleads with him not to take that friendship away.

Prem asks why she didn’t reject him earlier, and Rahi says she didn’t know how to react and needed time. Prem assures her it’s okay and quietly sits in his jeep. Rahi asks if he’s upset, and he says no. He admits she may not love him, but that won’t stop him from loving her and waiting for her forever.

Anupama watches them from the window with concern. Prem wipes tears from his cheeks as a song plays. Rahi picks up a pen and heads inside, telling Anupama that everything is fine and she’ll help Mahi in the kitchen. Anupama wonders what’s really going on between Rahi and Prem—is it friendship, conflict, or something else?

On the way to deliver food, Prem breaks down crying, stops the jeep, and imagines Rahi everywhere. He runs, lamenting that though he knows she loves him, she’s hiding it from him. Feeling defeated, he says his love story ended before it even began.

He slumps against a tree, crying. Suddenly, a group of goons approach, demanding his belongings. They snatch his wallet and discover Rahi’s photo on his phone. Curious, they ask her name. Prem fights back, grabs his phone, but the goons attack and beat him. Just as they try to take his phone, some bystanders arrive, scaring the goons away. One man asks if Prem is okay.

Meanwhile, Rahi offers to help Mahi, who angrily rejects her help, accusing Rahi of attention-seeking. Rahi asks what’s wrong, but before Mahi can answer, Anupama notices that the besan (gram flour) is burning, wasting both ingredients and gas.

She asks where Prem is since she sent him for supplies. Mahi calls Prem but his phone is off. Back outside, the kind man helps Prem to his feet and leaves. Prem looks at Rahi’s photo and quietly vows, “You may not love me, but I will never stop loving you.”
