The episode begins with Renu, Roshni, and Riya chopping vegetables and grinding spices in the kitchen.
The maid compliments Roshni’s cooking skills. Renu remarks that Roshni is working like she does it daily. Roshni replies that Malti just taught her, and she picked it up quickly. Renu then asks Riya to try chopping onions. As Riya attempts it, she cuts her finger and cries out in pain.

Just then, Aaji and Sayali enter. Aaji asks what happened. Sayali quickly checks on her and says it’s a minor cut, assuring Riya she’ll be fine. Roshni also says it’s nothing serious. Sayali comforts Riya. Aaji says learning comes with some pain, and every woman experiences this. Riya insists on going to the hospital. Aaji tells her to wait and applies turmeric (haldi) to the wound, saying it’s a traditional remedy. Malti brings the haldi, and Sayali applies it as Aaji holds Riya’s hand in place. Riya continues to protest, asking for a doctor. Aaji tells her the doctor only comes in the evening and sends her to rest.

Aaji then instructs Renu and Roshni to continue with the kitchen work. Sayali offers to help, but Aaji pulls her away. Meanwhile, Sachin and Sayali have a conversation where he appreciates her family. Roshni sneaks away to try and call Sultan.

Back in the kitchen, Renu lights the stove and explains cooking basics to Riya, who gets alarmed by the smoke and says she’ll call the fire brigade. Renu tells her there’s no need. Watching from afar, Aaji tells Sayali not to sympathize with Renu and to sit quietly. Sayali insists Renu is overwhelmed, but Aaji says she knows what she’s doing.

Riya, unsure of what to do, dumps an entire jar of mustard seeds into the hot oil, causing panic. Renu and Roshni get anxious, and Renu gently tells Riya to just step back and relax. Roshni asks if she should make dal-chawal instead, and Renu agrees. Aaji comments to Sayali that now they’ll learn cooking isn’t as easy as just sitting down to eat.

Later, everyone gathers for the meal. Riya compliments Akash’s cooking skills. As Sayali begins to serve, Renu interrupts and accuses her of stealing credit. She mocks Sayali’s background and tells her to sit aside. Paresh scolds Renu, and Sachin sarcastically says Sayali never gets any credit despite always cooking for everyone. He suggests Roshni and Riya deserve awards for their one-day effort. Aaji agrees Renu was unfair and tells Sayali to be the first to eat. Sayali insists she’ll eat later, but Sachin stops her. Paresh tells Renu to continue serving food.

Renu serves the others with a cold attitude toward Sayali. Tejas compliments Roshni for her hard work. Riya claims she cut the vegetables herself. Akash playfully teases her for cutting a brinjal in half. Sachin praises the food, especially the potato dish, and jokes that Renu couldn’t have made it. Aaji reveals Sayali prepared it. Sayali tries to credit Aaji for adding the tadka, but Sachin says it’s still the tastiest dish.

Aaji scolds Renu for not serving Sayali properly. Sachin offers Sayali a papad and asks Renu for rice, which she hands over reluctantly. Renu then tells Riya to eat. Riya asks if she can use a spoon due to her injured finger. Akash says she should try eating with her hand. Renu insists on feeding Riya herself, saying the spices might irritate her wound.

Sachin quips that gold makes people do anything. Aaji agrees and says eating with hands will heal her faster. Renu continues feeding Riya, and Sayali watches silently, hurt. Aaji intervenes and asks Sayali to sit beside Riya. She then says it’s unfair to feed only one daughter-in-law and that all three should be treated equally. Sachin applauds this.
