Jhanak update Wednesday 18 June 2025

The episode begins with Anirudh waiting outside the house. Meanwhile, Jhanak talks to Appu and mentions she’s going out for something important. Appu, knowing Jhanak is meeting Anirudh, chuckles to herself, imagining they’re going on a date.

When Jhanak meets Anirudh, she asks what has happened. Anirudh directly asks if she loves him. Jhanak reminds him they have already discussed this. He expresses his desire to have her in his life forever and asks if she will marry him. Jhanak replies that she has her principles and can’t marry him, but she can love him from afar.

Anirudh then reveals a fake medical report, claiming he has cancer and won’t live much longer. Shocked, Jhanak breaks down in tears, questioning why fate is taking away those she loves. Anirudh tells her he will live longer if she stays with him and urges her to forget about Arshi and societal judgments.

Moved, Jhanak promises she won’t let him die and agrees to stay by his side. When Anirudh asks if she will marry him, she agrees and embraces him. Internally, he feels he has no other choice but to keep her close, while she feels she can’t live without him.

As they enter the house, Arshi claps sarcastically. Anjana warmly welcomes Jhanak, but Shubh criticizes her for leaving home. Dadi harshly calls Jhanak shameless, but Anirudh defends her fiercely, warning that he won’t tolerate any disrespect towards Jhanak and will leave the house if anyone insults her.

Arshi declares she cannot live with Anirudh even for a second. Anirudh tells Arshi to free him from their relationship since they’re unhappy. Arshi questions if he intends to marry Jhanak. Tanuja asks if Anirudh plans to live with Jhanak in their house. Anirudh responds that if they don’t want him there, he will leave.

Anjana tries to calm him, but Anirudh admits he cannot keep Arshi happy and his heart belongs to Jhanak. He openly confesses his love for Jhanak and his desire to live with her. Tanuja remarks that Jhanak must be happy hearing this, while Dadi says this is exactly what Jhanak wanted.

Bipasha demands Jhanak leave, but Jhanak warns everyone to respect their limits, declaring it’s her turn to reveal the truth. She explains that despite trying to leave multiple times, she ended up in danger because of them.

She questions how they can blame her for Anirudh’s actions when they themselves couldn’t control him. She accuses Arshi of failing to keep Anirudh in check and reveals that she understands Anirudh never loved Arshi.

Anjana asks why Jhanak is saying all this. Anirudh assures Anjana that Jhanak won’t be going to Mumbai and Jhanak confirms that Anirudh truly matters to her.

Shubh questions who Jhanak is to Anirudh, while Tanuja reminds him that Anirudh is their responsibility. Choton arrives and asks what is happening. Anjana explains that Jhanak is once again being blamed and wonders why she continues to tolerate it.

Anirudh tells Arshi that their marriage was never completed legally and their relationship has no official status. He offers Arshi money if she wants it, but she remains upset. Dadi scolds Anirudh, but he insists he is not in the wrong. He argues that staying in a relationship where he can’t make Arshi happy is pointless and asks the family to stay out of his personal matters.

Arshi claims they could be happy if Jhanak left. Jhanak responds that she has left, but nothing has changed between them. Anirudh states he will no longer live with Arshi and reminds her she had promised to leave if he brought Jhanak home. He declares he will do what he wants and no one can stop him. When Arshi asks if this is his final decision, Anirudh confirms it.

He tells the family that Jhanak stayed with him after Arshi left. Jhanak says she will leave if Arshi asks, but she will return whenever Anirudh is in danger. Arshi pushes Jhanak, but Anirudh restrains her. Arshi tells Jhanak to stay away, but Jhanak refuses to tolerate the insult. Anirudh asks Arshi to make her choice. Arshi states that since Anirudh doesn’t care about her, she will leave.
