Jhanak update Thursday 19 June 2025

The episode opens with Arshi declaring that Anirudh doesn’t care about her, so she has decided to leave the house. Tanuja advises Arshi against making such a rash decision, pointing out that Anirudh is emotionally unstable right now. Choton expresses confusion over why Arshi is being stopped when Anirudh himself seems unable to make any decisions. Anjana cautions that Anirudh must think carefully before acting, warning that his choices could ruin everything. Feeling helpless and frustrated by Anjana’s remarks, Anirudh threatens to end his life, but Jhanak reprimands him for speaking so recklessly.

Turning to Arshi, Anirudh asks her to let him go. Arshi responds sarcastically, telling him to marry Jhanak if he wants, suggesting he will only realize what he has lost afterward. Anirudh then surprises everyone by telling Jhanak that he wants to marry her. Bipasha is shocked and questions how he can be so irresponsible. Laal reprimands Anirudh for his behavior, but Anirudh insists to Jhanak that his feelings for her are sincere.

Later, Arshi retreats to her room and begins packing her bags. Tanuja pleads with her not to leave, but Arshi insists she must keep her self-respect and cannot stay where she is not valued. Bipasha challenges Arshi’s willingness to give up so easily, urging her not to let Jhanak win. However, Arshi brushes off Bipasha’s concerns, saying it no longer matters. Tanuja hopes Anirudh will eventually realize his mistake, but Arshi says no one can force love and questions why she should fight for someone indifferent to her. She adds that divine justice will catch up with Anirudh. Bipasha claims that Jhanak used black magic on him, but Arshi says she has wasted enough time on Anirudh already.

Bablu tells Jhanak that marrying Anirudh may not be the right choice. Anjana mentions that Tanuja and Shubh will never accept Jhanak. Choton defends Jhanak’s decision, saying she must have carefully considered it since Anirudh and Arshi cannot be happy together. He then asks Jhanak what is truly troubling her, but she remains silent, internally conflicted about revealing her real reasons for agreeing to marry Anirudh.

Arshi tells Tanuja that Anirudh will only bring pain and disappointment, refusing to be stopped. Anirudh arrives and asks to speak with Arshi privately, but she refuses, saying her love for him is over and there’s nothing left to discuss. Tanuja leaves, ashamed of Anirudh’s conduct, while Bipasha criticizes him for setting a bad example for their younger sisters. Anirudh snaps back, saying he doesn’t need a character certificate from her.

Choton meets with Bablu and argues that Jhanak deserves happiness and should not feel forced into any decision. Since Anirudh and Arshi are unhappy, ending their relationship seems best. Bablu worries about Jhanak facing hatred, while Anjana warns that society will blame Jhanak for Arshi’s departure. Jhanak dismisses societal judgment and says she doesn’t care.

Finally, Arshi confronts Anirudh, accusing him of disrespecting her love and vows to leave the house. Anirudh urges her not to leave at night, but Arshi refuses, saying trust between them is broken. She tells him he can’t understand how she feels and mocks his excuses. Anirudh hopes she will one day understand his decision, but Arshi refuses to listen and insists they go their separate ways. She warns him not to abandon Jhanak as he is abandoning her. Meanwhile, Choton argues that Jhanak deserves happiness, but Bablu advises caution. Despite their pleas, Jhanak stands firm on her choice to marry Anirudh, stating she will not back down because she has her own reasons.
