The episode begins with Mahua arguing with Chandan about Meghla. She insists that Adrija is right and accuses Chandan of always supporting Meghla, even when she is wrong. Mahua asks him if he must visit Ranbir’s house, she will get the necklace ready. Chandan agrees and tells her to prepare the necklace as he plans to return it. Mahua leaves. Meghla admits she may have made a mistake by answering Ranbir’s call but explains that she confronted him about how he treated Adrija, asking for trust. He expresses that it hurts him to hear Meghla being scolded and advises her not to repeat such mistakes.

Chandan arrives at the Bajwa residence. He mentions he is running late for university but has come to return the necklace. Kamal politely asks him to stay and have a seat, and Chandan complies. Balveer apologizes for the earlier incident. Meher shares that they spoke to Ranbir about Adrija, but Chandan reassures her that it’s alright—they can’t force anyone into marriage, and Ranbir should not be pressured. Meher wonders if they can discuss Ranbir’s feelings for Meghla, but Chandan declines, saying it’s not feasible since Ranbir and Meghla don’t truly know each other, Meghla was not involved, and Ranbir liked her. He believes Meghla won’t be upset and suggests ending the matter. Simran expresses disappointment, but Chandan apologizes.

Zoravar arrives and greets them. Chandan reiterates he came to return the necklace. Zoravar invites him to lunch, but Chandan declines, citing university commitments. Zoravar remarks he has a day off and was resting. Upon learning Ranbir likes Meghla, Zoravar admits he was unhappy and belittles Meghla in front of everyone. Harman comments that Zoravar is damaging Chandan’s self-respect. Simran is relieved Ranbir is not present. Param suggests Ranbir could have convinced Chandan and proposes arranging a meeting between them, expressing sympathy for Ranbir.

Meher and Balveer attempt to smooth over Zoravar’s behavior. Zoravar states that Ranbir and Meghla are not a match, saying they only accepted the proposal for Ranbir’s sake but he personally would never approve. Meher worries. Chandan agrees, saying they also did not see them as a match, so they stepped back. Meher suggests opinions may change in the future and that happiness isn’t determined by education or financial status. Chandan insists he cannot get Meghla married before Adrija. Balveer supports this, saying Adrija should marry first and then they can talk about Ranbir and Meghla later. Zoravar advises against pressuring Chandan, reminding them Ranbir is young and could like someone else. Harman recommends informing Ranbir, and Simran agrees, asking Harman to call him.

Meher encourages Chandan to eat, but he refuses, saying he already ate at home. She then insists he have tea. Simran offers sweets, homemade, and Chandan agrees to eat. He hands the necklace to Meher and asks her to check it. Kamal states they are not rude enough to ask for a gift back. Balveer says Adrija is like their daughter and the necklace should be accepted as a gift for her good results. Kamal agrees. Zoravar adds that they usually donate such things to needy relatives. Chandan objects, saying he cannot accept the necklace since the marriage alliance didn’t happen, and it means a lot to him.

Harman calls Ranbir to inform him that Chandan has come to return the necklace. Ranbir wonders what he should do. Harman advises him to talk to Chandan once. Ranbir says he can’t come home right now but agrees to call Chandan and arrange a meeting. Chandan reflects that everyone likes Meghla except for Zoravar, whose rude behavior stands out. He wishes Meghla could have married into this family. As he prepares to leave, Meher asks him to give their blessings to both Meghla and Adrija.

Ranbir calls Chandan, saying he wants to meet and talk. Chandan agrees to inform him. Later, they meet at a café. Ranbir apologizes, admitting his mistake. Chandan accepts the apology but asks Ranbir to promise they won’t discuss this topic again. Ranbir offers to drop Chandan off, but he declines, saying Ranbir should continue with his work. Ranbir then remarks that their conversation is not yet over.
