The episode opens with Adrija accusing Meghla of speaking with Ranbir. Meghla denies it, but Adrija cuts her off harshly, insisting her lies won’t fool her. She warns Meghla that their father won’t always be there to support her and that one day she will sever all ties, refusing even to see her face. Mahua intervenes, urging Adrija to stop and let the matter rest. Adrija snaps back, accusing Mahua of trying to silence her. Mahua, frustrated, asks what else she can do—should she slap Meghla since she refuses to understand? She makes it clear to Meghla that she will never allow her happiness at the expense of Adrija’s tears and that Meghla will never marry Ranbir.

Ranbir overhears the heated exchange over the phone.

Mahua admits she’s not a perfect person with a big heart. Meghla pleads for understanding, explaining that she did nothing wrong and only answered Ranbir’s calls. She insists she had no intention of insulting him and asks to be trusted. Adrija sarcastically calls Meghla a saint, accusing her of always lying. Mahua asks Adrija to stop.

Mahua then declares she will call Ranbir to tell him not to contact them again. She thought Ranbir was sensible and respectable but refuses to accept this alliance. She doesn’t understand why he keeps calling and insists it’s for the best—Adrija is saved because Meghla will not marry him. Angered, Ranbir throws his phone down and sits crying.

Later, he picks up his phone and looks at Meghla’s pictures as the song “O Sajni re…” plays. The next morning, Meghla brings tea for Chandan. Mahua asks her not to wake Adrija, and Meghla agrees. Chandan asks Meghla if she’ll be singing today, but she says no. Mahua urges Chandan to ask Meghla about the previous night, scolding her. When Chandan asks what happened, Mahua reveals she overheard Meghla talking to Ranbir, which upsets her as it implies closeness.

Chandan defends Meghla, reminding Mahua that she is talking about her daughter and shouldn’t jump to conclusions. He asks Meghla why she took Ranbir’s call. Meghla explains he called twice, and she thought he had reconsidered and wanted to discuss Adrija. Mahua sarcastically remarks how great it is that Meghla spoke to him for so long. Meghla insists she said nothing wrong. Mahua demands Chandan return the jewelry to end the matter, and he agrees.

Meghla tries to say that if the family agrees to Adrija’s alliance, then… but Mahua cuts her off, telling her to stop playing the martyr. She sides with Adrija, accusing Meghla of influencing Ranbir and not wanting the marriage to happen. Chandan asks why Meghla spoke to Ranbir in the first place. Meghla insists she wouldn’t harm Adrija, though she admits maybe it was a mistake to talk to Ranbir. Mahua and Adrija refuse to accept Meghla’s explanation.

Chandan, frustrated, asks if he should slap Meghla to make her understand. Mahua argues, saying she wants Adrija to be happy and move forward, insisting that Adrija spoke the truth about Meghla.
