Sacred Love update Friday 20 June 2025

The episode begins with Chandan deep in thought, silently acknowledging to himself, “I understand what you’re trying to say, but it’s just not possible.” Ranbir then speaks up, saying confidently, “I’m sure you’ve understood my intention — I want to marry Meghla.”

Chandan responds seriously, explaining, “There are complications between Meghla and Adrija. If I agree to your marriage with Meghla, neither Adrija nor Mahua will accept it. Besides, Meghla isn’t ready for marriage right now.”

Ranbir counters gently, “I believe she’s just afraid of Adrija and can’t openly express her feelings.”

Chandan replies, “Eventually, she’ll have to speak for herself. Marriage is a lifelong commitment.”

Ranbir reflects silently, convinced that Meghla does harbor feelings for him. He then says aloud, “I understand that you’re trying to protect her. But Meghla has never been able to speak up for what she truly wants.”

Chandan begins to wonder, “Does Ranbir already know the truth about Meghla? I should tell him… but how? I’m not sure what to do.”

Ranbir continues, “I’m sorry — you’re Meghla’s father, and I respect your decision. Just let me know what you decide.”

Chandan replies, “Alright, I’ll reconsider your proposal. There’s something important I need to tell you about Meghla.”

Ranbir stops him and says, “I don’t want to know any secrets. It’s fine.”

Chandan warns him, “If you hear it from someone else, it might hurt more.”

Ranbir reassures him, “I’ll wait for your decision. Your respect matters a lot to me. Please do what you believe is right.”

Chandan agrees, saying he’ll talk it over with Mahua. Ranbir informs him that he’s already taken care of the bill.

Chandan says, “I’m the elder here.”

Ranbir smiles and replies, “But I invited you. And sometimes, elders should listen to the younger ones.”

Chandan responds, “Well said,” and leaves.

Chandan returns home. Mahua immediately asks what was said.

He replies, “They repeated the same proposal.”

Mahua argues, clearly disapproving. Meghla arrives with a cup of tea for Chandan.

Chandan smiles, “Wow, Meghla brought me tea herself.”

Adrija cuts in sarcastically, “She just wants to know if Ranbir’s family has managed to convince you to accept her as their daughter-in-law.”

Chandan scolds Adrija for her comment, but Meghla quickly steps in to stop him and changes the subject by asking about visiting Guru ji.

Mahua scolds Meghla for interrupting.

Adrija accuses Meghla of being dishonest.

Chandan sends Meghla away.

Meanwhile, Ranbir’s family asks him what Chandan’s response was. Ranbir replies that Chandan hasn’t agreed yet — he needs time to discuss things at home. This gives them a bit of hope.

Back at home, Chandan tells Adrija to leave the room. He clarifies, “Ranbir didn’t say anything negative about you. He was just hurt that you misunderstood him.”

Adrija becomes furious. Chandan instructs her to go to her room, as he needs to speak privately with Mahua.

Once Adrija is gone, Mahua asks what’s going on.

Chandan answers seriously, “This is important.”

Mahua responds with a sarcastic remark about Meghla, but Chandan defends her.

He says, “Ranbir approached me directly. He truly wants to marry Meghla.”

Mahua protests, “But we already told them we weren’t interested.”

Chandan calmly replies, “There’s nothing wrong with their relationship. If they got married, it wouldn’t be a bad thing.”

Adrija overhears this and is stunned. She thinks to herself, “This can’t be happening. I can’t lose Ranbir.” Tears stream down her face as she walks away.
