Sacred Love update Monday 23 June 2025
The episode opens with Dadu firmly declaring that Meghla has rejected Ranbir and will never become their daughter-in-law. Ranbir pleads with him, “Please don’t say that… I love her.”
But Dadu remains unmoved. “She doesn’t love you, Ranbir. It’s time to forget her.”
Balveer steps in, defending Ranbir. “If he truly likes Meghla, we shouldn’t interfere. I support him, and so does the rest of the family—we all believe he’s making the right choice.”
Dadi gently holds Ranbir, trying to comfort him.
Meanwhile, Meghla sings a melancholic tune, her emotions weighing heavily on her.
Chandan walks in and says softly, “Sometimes I wonder if we gave you the wrong name, Meghla. Like your name, sorrow seems to cloud your life constantly.”
Meghla tells him, “You can talk to me about anything—but not about Ranbir or his family.”
Chandan gently insists, “Ranbir asked to meet me one last time, so I saw him at the coffee shop. He loves you deeply and is willing to wait five years for you. I gave him my word that I would reconsider. And now… I’ve made my decision.”
Meghla, shocked, asks, “What decision?”
Chandan replies, “I have no objection to this marriage.”
She looks stunned. “But I do. I don’t want to marry. Especially not someone who was originally meant to marry Adrija.”
Back at the Bajwa house, Dadu sighs in frustration. “Fine, I give up.”
Ranbir, confident, says, “Meghla will say yes, I’m sure of it.”
Harman jokes, “Or else you’ll end up marrying a nice Punjabi girl.”
Dadu sternly adds, “That would be my advice too. No boy from the Bajwa family should tolerate this kind of rejection.”
Ranbir defends his feelings. “I know that girl. I could tell who she is the moment I met her. Trust me—I don’t make wrong choices.”
Dadu finally relents. “Fine.”
Back at home, Meghla confronts Chandan. “How can you make this decision without asking me? What will Adrija think if she finds out I agreed to marry Ranbir? I told you before—I don’t want marriage. I want to dedicate my life to music.”
Chandan tries to reason with her. “I met Ranbir and his family—they’re good people. Ranbir is determined and never backs down from what he believes in.”
Meghla begins to cry. Chandan comforts her, “One day, everyone must leave this world. Who will look after you? I can’t place that responsibility on Adrija anymore.”
Meghla insists, “I can take care of myself. Everyone has their breaking point. Adrija isn’t wrong—if she gets what she wants, her anger will fade.”
But Chandan disagrees. “No. She’ll always hold resentment in her heart.”
He pleads, “Won’t you listen to me? Ranbir loves you—he told me himself. He will never marry Adrija. And I know Adrija… she’ll eventually move on.”
Meghla says quietly, “I never knew Ranbir felt that way about me.”
Chandan replies, “We can’t control how people feel. And you’ve done nothing wrong. If he likes you, it’s not your fault.”
Meghla says, “I just don’t believe it. They’re wealthy and educated. I haven’t even earned a proper degree. Adrija connects with everyone. I could never belong in that family—especially in a house where she was once meant to marry.”
Chandan gently tells her, “You’re not deceiving anyone. Yes, they’re rich—but not arrogant. You’ve already been honest with them. I’ve asked Ranbir to give us time. I believe you won’t refuse in the end.”
Meghla replies, “I just don’t want to hurt Adrija.”
He says, “She’s my daughter too. But I understand—her pride is wounded.”
Meghla adds tearfully, “I promised Guruji that I would never leave him or give up music.”
At that moment, Adrija arrives. Chandan asks her if she has something important to say.
Adrija answers with sarcasm, “Of course, why else would I come?” She shoots a taunting look at Meghla.
Adrija then gets into an argument with both Chandan and Meghla. She hands Chandan a document and says, “I need your signature—I’ve applied to a university abroad.”
Meghla begs her not to leave the house.
Adrija snaps, “Stay out of this!”
Chandan then calls Balveer. Mahua overhears the call.
Chandan declares, “I’m ready. I want Meghla to marry Ranbir.”
Balveer smiles. Meghla stares at Chandan in disbelief.
