Jhanak update Wednesday 25 June 2025

Arshi asks Aniruddh if he will accept the baby. Everyone is shocked by her question. Aniruddh questions why Arshi is bringing this up now, especially since he is set to marry Jhanak tomorrow. Arshi challenges him, asking if he thinks she is lying, and shows him her positive pregnancy report. Srishti supports Arshi, reminding Aniruddh that Arshi is not alone in this. Vinayak advises Aniruddh to marry Arshi first and then divorce her later, emphasizing that the baby needs a father’s name.

Shrishti then asks Jhanak if she still won’t leave Aniruddh despite this news. Arshi tells Shrishti to direct her questions to Aniruddh only. Bipasha calls it good news and questions why Arshi didn’t share this earlier. Shrishti replies that Arshi herself found out only recently and criticizes the Basu family for not taking proper care of her. She tells Aniruddh that Arshi cannot handle the baby’s responsibility alone and insists he must marry Arshi and accept the child.

Shubhankar agrees with Shrishti’s opinion. Bablu reminds everyone that Arshi left the house only a few days ago. Vinayak questions Bablu if he suspects Arshi and states that even if Shrishti might be mistaken, Arshi is not. He suggests a DNA test and warns that if the Basus do not trust Arshi, there will be consequences.

Jhanak confronts Aniruddh, reminding him that he said there was no physical relationship between him and Arshi. Aniruddh admits he did say that but doesn’t understand why Arshi is acting this way now. Arshi accuses him of humiliating her. Arundati tells Aniruddh not to commit such a sin. Jhanak insists that if the baby is his, he must take responsibility. Aniruddh admits he was drunk on the night in question and thinks he may have made a mistake. Tanuja urges Aniruddh not to proceed with this.

Shubhankar declares that since Arshi is the daughter-in-law and pregnant with Aniruddh’s child, he cannot marry Jhanak. He insists that Arshi will continue to live in the house. Mrinalini advises Aniruddh to accept responsibility for the baby and reminds him he can divorce Arshi later. Jhanak surprises everyone by saying Arshi must take care of Aniruddh now. Aniruddh tells Jhanak to drop the subject, but Jhanak insists this is the right time to address it. Aditya urges Aniruddh to make a clear decision and demands he choose between Arshi and Jhanak.

Shubhankar and Bablu support the idea that Aniruddh must stay with Arshi. Lalon agrees, saying Aniruddh can divorce Arshi after acknowledging the baby. Arshi reprimands Lalon for speaking like that, and Shubhankar scolds Lalon in return. Lalon retorts at Shubhankar to mind his tone.

Anjana tells Jhanak to back off. Jhanak demands that Aniruddh accept Arshi and the baby and marry Arshi the next day, emphasizing Aniruddh’s poor health. Shubhankar wonders how no one knew about Aniruddh’s illness. Mrinalini confirms that she was aware. Jhanak accuses Aniruddh of lying to her. Aniruddh denies it. Arshi questions him if he truly believes there was no physical relationship. Aniruddh replies he doesn’t remember anything due to his drunken state.

Vinayak tells Aniruddh he must make a choice. Aniruddh agrees to accept responsibility for the baby if Arshi’s claim is true but refuses to take responsibility for Arshi herself, calling it a mistake. Arshi insists she can raise the baby alone. Mrinalini urges the family to provide proper treatment so Aniruddh can live longer. Bablu asks Aniruddh what is wrong, but Aniruddh says he does not want to discuss it now. Arshi asks about his illness.

Aniruddh apologizes to Jhanak. Jhanak says she trusted him but received nothing in return and decides to leave the house today, promising to return tomorrow to complete unfinished matters. She tells Aniruddh he cannot stop her and pleads with Arshi not to abandon Aniruddh after learning about his illness.

Bipasha comments that such ups and downs are common between husband and wife and accuses Jhanak of trying to scare Arshi with talk of illness. Jhanak ignores her and asks Mrinalini if she can stay at her house for the night. Anjana blames Jhanak for her current troubles, saying this wouldn’t have happened if she had listened earlier. Jhanak admits she was wrong to trust Aniruddh and leaves.

Arshi asks Aniruddh what is wrong with him. Aniruddh calls himself a betrayer and liar, tells her to come tomorrow, and retreats to his room.
