Lost in Love update Friday 20 June 2025
The play continues with Riddhi inviting the granddaughter of retired army officer Ninad Chavan and current IPS officer Savi Chavan to the stage. Sai steps forward, portraying IPS officer Savi Chavan, and begins counting aloud, determined to catch the thieves. Savi watches the performance, touched and emotional.
To uplift Azoba’s (grandfather’s) mood, the entire Thakkar family gets involved in the theatrical performance. Bhagyashree plays Aji (grandmother), Rajendra acts as Azoba, Isha takes on Bhavani’s role, Lucky becomes the doctor, and Nidhi portrays Harini.
Savi enthusiastically plays her own role as an IPS officer. During the skit, Bhavani and Azoba humorously claim credit for Savi’s sharp intellect before exiting the stage. Harini, acting as the thief, is dramatically caught by Savi in front of Azoba. Savi asks Harini to play the harmonium, but Harini explains that she injured her finger and can’t. To keep the scene moving, Rajat—playing the role of Ishaan—steps in and plays the harmonium, reviving Azoba’s fond memories. Mid-performance, Rajat forgets his lines, but Azoba steps in, completing the moment with an emotional song.
Deeply moved, Savi confesses her fear of losing Azoba. She says her life would feel meaningless without him and worries she might forget him one day. Azoba lovingly reassures her, saying if forgetting ever happens, he would forget himself before ever forgetting her. He promises to live long enough to see her become an IAS officer. Touched by his words, Savi agrees, and the play wraps up on a warm and heartfelt note.
Later, overwhelmed with emotion, Savi reflects on her past. Sai comforts her, reminding Savi of the promise she made to Azoba. Sai encourages her to keep that promise as a gift to him on his birthday. With tears in her eyes, Savi pledges to honor her word, receiving applause and support from those around her.
Meanwhile, Aman notices Rajat’s growing interest in Savi and decides to inform Mrunmayi. He calls her, but she says she’s busy due to Arsh’s work. Aman mentions how Savi left a deep impression on him, and Mrunmayi agrees, adding that everyone loved the play. Aman invites her to the cake-cutting ceremony. Mrunmayi teasingly hints at Aman’s admiration for Savi before ending the call.
Elsewhere, Jigar confronts Arsh, blaming Savi for ruining his image. Arsh, set on revenge, asks his receptionist to send Mrunmayi to his office. Jigar warns him of the consequences, but Arsh, unconcerned, says he has nothing to lose. When Mrunmayi arrives, Arsh sends her to the basement under the pretext of retrieving some files. He follows her and attempts to assault her. Mrunmayi struggles to escape as Arsh corners her, revealing he no longer wants revenge—he wants to make her his queen and leave Ashika behind. Mrunmayi stands firm and tells him she’s already aware of his betrayal.
Back at the celebration, the Thakkar family rushes to cut Sai’s birthday cake before midnight. Rajat encourages Sai to make a wish. Sai closes her eyes and wishes for her parents to always stay together.
