Sacred Love update Saturday 28 June 2025

The episode begins with Meghla arriving to meet Ranbir. He tells her sincerely, “I just wanted to let you know that nothing will happen against your will. If you don’t want this marriage, I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen.” Meghla, clearly frustrated, replies, “I’ve told you this so many times—what was the need to come meet me again?” Ranbir says gently, “I didn’t realize you disliked me so much.” Meghla clarifies, “I never said I disliked you. I do like you—but for Adrija, not for myself.”

Ranbir questions, “Why not for you? What’s the difference?” He then shares that today is an important day for him: he saved a passenger’s life, and his airline wants to honor him with an award. “But I felt that meeting you was more important than any award,” he says. “Even if you scold me, I’m okay with that.”

Ranbir continues, “I know there are many issues in your family. That day, the call wasn’t disconnected—I heard everything. You must be hurting.” Meghla, upset, says, “This is all happening because of you. If you had just married Adrija, none of this would be happening.” Ranbir firmly responds, “It’s my right to decide who I marry. You can’t stop me from liking you.”

He notices her tears and says, “Don’t cry. Just tell me—what can I do to make you smile?” Meanwhile, Harman begs Param not to leave, while Meher breaks down in tears. “Let him go,” she says. “He came to me when I had no one. My parents don’t even have time for me.” Zoravar angrily scolds Param, demanding an apology. Param, looking hurt, says he doesn’t want one.

Back with Meghla, she confesses, “People think I’ve liked you for a long time.” Ranbir replies emotionally, “I’ve loved you since I first saw you. Tell me what my fault is. What do I need to do to make you happy?” He then says he wanted to give her a gift and adds, “You have no right to insult me.” Meghla quickly says, “I’m not insulting you.” But Ranbir replies, “That’s exactly what you’re doing. Anyway, fine. I’ll do as you wish. I’ll say no to the marriage.”

Meghla, concerned, says, “But then my dad will misunderstand you.” Ranbir shrugs, “That doesn’t matter to me anymore. I won’t meet you or your family again. I always keep my promises—you know that. My family only wanted to speak with you. You should’ve at least given them a chance, even if you were upset with me.”

Feeling remorseful, Meghla apologizes, “I didn’t mean to hurt them.” Ranbir replies softly, “It’s alright.” She then asks him to come with her to visit Guru ji’s place. He declines, “No. Thanks.” She asks gently, “Are you upset?” Ranbir responds with finality, “No. But everything is over between us. I won’t try to contact you again.”

Elsewhere, Zoravar instructs Meher to change his suit and leaves. Meher, overwhelmed, breaks down crying. Harman and Simran console her. Meher admits, “I made a huge mistake today.” Simran assures her, “We won’t let Param leave. Ranbir won’t either.” But Param says quietly, “Guests have to leave eventually. I don’t want anyone taunting Meher—she’s like a mother to me.”

Harman insists that Zoravar truly loves Meher, but Meher bitterly says, “That kind of love is meaningless.”

Ranbir hands Meghla his card and says, “Keep this safe. If you ever need help, call me.” Meghla takes the card silently. Ranbir sees tears in her eyes and asks, “Why are you crying?” She says, “I don’t know. I just feel hurt.” Ranbir asks again, “Why?” She says, “I really don’t know why.” He smiles softly.
