Saras and Kumud update Friday 20 June 2025

The episode begins with Saras discovering an earring and informing the inspector that it belongs to Kumud, confirming she is somewhere nearby. He confronts Sunanda about it, but Kajol quickly lies, claiming the earring is hers and shows the matching one to support her claim. The inspector says they cannot take any action without solid evidence. Saras insists he saw Kumud being kidnapped and demands their arrest, but the inspector apologetically refuses, citing lack of proof. After the police leave, Saras warns Sunanda that while the authorities may need evidence, he doesn’t—he knows Kumud is here. Sunanda confirms his suspicion, saying Kumud is indeed there, but challenges him, asking what he plans to do about it.

She threatens him, saying Kumud will never leave, and declares that the innocent woman he once knew is no longer the same. Saras, enraged, tells her to stop and warns that if Kumud is harmed, everyone involved will suffer the consequences. He glares at Samru and takes the earring from him. Saras tells Sunanda that he will soon take Kumud away from her. Sunanda, feeling threatened, vows to stop him. Outside, Saras and Majnu talk. Saras says he came for Kumud because the earring led him here.

Elsewhere, Kabir and Ghuman are seen together. Ghuman happily remarks that Danny has decided to leave Kusum. She is pleased that Danny even scolded Badimaa, which she takes as a sign of his love for her. Kabir comments that she is indeed a good mother, adding that some people never even get to know their parents. Ghuman implies he must have had a painful childhood. She says people like them who move on from the past find joy in the present. She then gives him one last task to complete, promising that it will lead to the outcome he desires.

Back at Sunanda’s place, Kumud is brought in, still tied up. Sunanda tells her that Saras has threatened her, vowing to rescue Kumud. However, she confidently claims that Saras will never see Kumud again. Samru unties Kumud, and Sunanda remarks that Kumud should be happy her husband loves her so deeply and that he cried when he couldn’t find her. Kumud is moved to tears. Sunanda locks the door and leaves. Kumud cries out for Saras.

Majnu warns Saras that these people are dangerous, but Saras insists they must act and urges Majnu to follow him. Meanwhile, Danny returns to his room. Kusum arrives to speak with him. As Danny tries to walk away, she stops him and reminds him of his promise to never misunderstand her. She pleads with him to see what Ghuman has done. Danny defends his mother, saying he can’t tolerate anyone disrespecting her. He points out that he has always respected Kusum’s family, yet they continue to humiliate his mother. Kusum argues that Ghuman’s actions were also wrong, but Danny dismisses her concerns and says they should stay apart for some time. He leaves. Kusum feels his pain but struggles to expose Ghuman’s true face.

Meanwhile, Ghuman is seen plotting again. She receives a call from Sunanda, who informs her that Saras came looking for Kumud. Ghuman is stunned but quickly regains composure. Sunanda reassures her that Saras won’t succeed. Ghuman warns her to be cautious, as Saras won’t give up easily. Sunanda promises to handle it and demands more money for her troubles, claiming she now has to deal with Ghuman’s son as well. Ghuman agrees and laughs. Sunanda remarks how lucky it is that Kumud came to her disguised as Laxmi.

Later, dancer Kusum visits Kumud and offers her food. She notices that Kumud has a high fever and goes to get medicine, leaving the door open. Seizing the chance, Kumud tries to escape. As she sneaks out, Sunanda approaches. Kusum quickly hides Kumud and scolds her gently, warning that if anyone sees her, it could end badly. She promises to help Kumud and urges her to trust her. Kumud insists she must reach Saras. Kusum reminds her that if she’s caught again, she’ll be taken somewhere else, and Saras might never find her. She takes Kumud back to the room.

Outside, Saras observes the gate guarded heavily. Majnu distracts the guards by pretending to be a madman, drawing their attention. As the guards leave their posts, Saras sneaks inside. He finds Samru occupied but is quickly caught by other goons. Sunanda sees Saras and is left in shock.
