Saras and Kumud update Sunday 22 June 2025

The episode begins with Majnu telling Sunanda that the girl follows her heart and won’t stay there for long. He informs her that the Sheikh wants to meet the girl and offers money for each meeting. Sunanda, pleased by the money, smiles and agrees but insists that her men will accompany them. When Majnu questions the reason, she internally decides the Sheikh should not get too close to the girl. She tells him they trust him, but not the girl, and instructs Samru to go along with the Sheikh and Majnu.

Meanwhile, Ghuman is waiting for Kabir’s call. When Kabir calls, he tells her that half the job is done. She asks if anyone became suspicious, but he assures her that no one saw him and even if they did, they wouldn’t suspect anything. She says she’s waiting for good news—and for him. Kabir replies that he won’t keep her waiting, and she ends the call with a smile.

Kumud is seen removing her earrings when Samru arrives and informs her that the Sheikh has come to see her, asking her to behave properly. Saras watches her silently. Kumud refuses, saying she doesn’t want to meet anyone. Majnu tells her that her voice has deeply moved the Sheikh. As Majnu approaches her, Kumud warns him not to come closer, showing a piece of glass, and declares that no one can touch her except her Saras. Saras steps forward, gently takes the glass from her hand, and tears up. Kumud begins to recognize him—through his touch and his face. They hold hands. Saras is emotional. Suddenly, Kumud pulls her hand back and stares at it, then at him, and finally realizes that it is indeed Saras. She smiles and faints.

Majnu quickly asks Samru to bring water. Saras, worried, calls out Kumud’s name. She regains consciousness, sees him, and says “Saras” tearfully. They embrace lovingly. She clutches his hand tightly. Saras tells her, “I’m here, Kumud.” She replies, “I’ve been waiting for you.” Majnu warns them that others are approaching. Samru returns and finds Kumud awake. She tells him she’s fine. Samru apologizes to the Sheikh and tells him he must leave now. Saras and Kumud share a silent moment before he leaves, and her heart aches watching him go. Samru locks her in again. Kumud, now smiling, thanks God for sending Saras to her. She gazes at the smiley face drawing.

Elsewhere, Kusum is watering plants when Danny comes to her house, upset. He turns to leave but spots her and stops. Kusum rushes to him, saying she now knows the full truth and pleads for a chance to explain. She urges him to reconsider, saying he only saw part of the situation. Danny suggests she may be mistaken.

Back at Sunanda’s place, she warmly welcomes the Sheikh. Majnu gives her more money, and she asks what he wants now. He says the Sheikh wishes to spend time with the girl and hear her sing a few songs. Sunanda hesitates, saying the girl needs rest. Majnu insists, wanting to take her out. Sunanda refuses, saying she can only be met there. Majnu stresses that the Sheikh is no ordinary man and offers more money. Sunanda relents but adds a condition: her men will accompany them. Saras, as the Sheikh, agrees to meet the girl at 11 a.m. the next day in the park. Sunanda agrees. Jugnu, watching silently, grows tense.

Meanwhile, Kabir gives a file to Menka. She’s worried and tells him things aren’t as simple as he thinks. She questions his loyalty, wondering if being close to Ghuman is clouding his focus. Kabir insists he hasn’t forgotten his mission and still seeks revenge. He says there’s just one final task, after which Ghuman will be under his control. Menka looks at him in surprise.

Sunanda tries calming Jugnu with juice, but he accuses her of betrayal—saying she made Kumud sing and now plans to send her away with the Sheikh. He claims Kumud is his. Sunanda mocks him, asking what he plans to do with her as a wife when she just earned ₹2 lakhs in a single day. Jugnu refuses to let her go. Sunanda challenges him to bring ₹50 lakhs if he wants the girl. Jugnu protests, saying she previously asked for ₹20 lakhs. Sunanda claims the girl’s value has doubled, thanks to the Sheikh. She warns him to control his anger. Jugnu, still emotional, agrees to arrange ₹50 lakhs. Sunanda is pleased and laughs. Meanwhile, Kajal burns with jealousy seeing Kumud get all the attention.

Later, Kabir visits Ghuman. She hands him a file, calling it good news. She confirms if it’s the right one. Kabir replies that it is—they must show this file publicly and hide the other one. Ghuman tells him he took a huge risk and could’ve been caught. She says he won’t be able to forget her. Then she asks what he wants in return. Kabir declines for now, saying he’ll ask only after her dream is fulfilled and he sees the joy of victory. He wonders if she’ll agree then. Ghuman reminds him of her loyalty, saying she once told him she could give anything to someone she trusts. She tells him to test her and leaves. Kabir thinks to himself that he will eventually take everything from her.

Saras, meanwhile, calls the inspector and informs him that he has found Kumud. He says she will be taken to the park the next morning under the guise of meeting the Sheikh, and that’s the moment to rescue her. He advises the officers to come in plain clothes to avoid suspicion from Sunanda’s men. After ending the call, Saras looks at Kumud’s earrings and promises, “I’m sorry I couldn’t free you today, Kumud, but tomorrow we will be together. Just one night separates us.”
