Saras and kumud

The episode opens with Jugnu taking an unconscious Kumud away. Sunanda covers Kumud’s face with a ghunghat and instructs Jugnu to be cautious while transporting her. As Jugnu departs, Sunanda laughs in satisfaction. Kusum watches anxiously as her sister is taken away. Jugnu places Kumud in a car and drives off. Meanwhile, Sunanda gleefully counts the money, surrounded by her henchmen. She instructs Kajal to distribute some of the cash among the group.

Just then, Majnu arrives with Sheikh (Saras) and presents a bag containing ₹1 crore. He says, “We brought the full amount within 24 hours.” Sunanda is stunned and regretful. She admits, “I’ve made a mistake—Jugnu has already taken Kumud.” Saras is shocked. She tries to justify her decision by saying it was too dangerous to keep Kumud there, and had she known they’d return with the money, she would have waited. She reveals that Kumud was disguised as a traditional Rajasthani bride and sent toward Ahmedabad. She adds that Kumud is still unconscious. Without wasting time, Saras and Majnu rush out with the money.

Meanwhile, Jugnu prepares for his future with Kumud, dressing in traditional Rajasthani attire and gazing at her affectionately. He says, “Forget your past—now you are mine. I’ll give you so much love that you won’t think of Saraswatichandra again.”

Elsewhere, Danny searches Ghuman’s room, looking for the original property documents. Frustrated at not finding them, he wonders how Ghuman could’ve hidden them so well. He reflects on the crisis the family is facing and prays that Kumud is safe.

Saras and Majnu arrive at a bus station with Sunanda’s men. They spot a woman wearing a ghunghat and suspect she might be Kumud. Majnu approaches her, only to be slapped when he checks her face. The bus conductor tells them that two tickets were booked under Jugnu’s name, but he never boarded the bus. One of Sunanda’s men calls her and reveals that Jugnu has betrayed them and disappeared. Furious, Sunanda tells her man to apologize to the Sheikh and offer Kajal instead, saying, “Let him meet Kajal if not Kumud.”

Back at the station, Saras slaps the man in frustration. The man tries to offer Kajal in Kumud’s place. Saras becomes more anxious about Kumud’s whereabouts.

Kumud wakes up in an unfamiliar room. She’s shocked and confused, recalling drinking the water Kajal gave her. Realizing something is wrong, she bangs on the door and shouts for help. Meanwhile, Saras deduces that Jugnu must have hidden her and decides to return to Sunanda for clues.

Saras and Majnu confront Sunanda, demanding to know Jugnu’s location. Sunanda insists that she doesn’t know where he went and claims he betrayed her too. She tries to bribe them again with Kajal. Majnu reminds her that Saras only wants Kumud—no one else. Sunanda replies, “Even Jugnu said the same—he won’t give her back.” Saras becomes increasingly desperate.

Back in the locked room, Kumud continues to call for help, confused about who took her. Jugnu enters, and Kumud recognizes him from Sunanda’s place. Frightened, she warns him to stay back and grabs a vase to defend herself. Jugnu tries to reassure her, claiming he saved her from being sold. He admits he worked for Sunanda but couldn’t stand the idea of her being given to a Sheikh. He says, “When I saw you singing that day, I decided to rescue you.” He insists he paid ₹50 lakhs and brought her here to start a new life with her.

Kumud is stunned. Jugnu says, “No one knows where you are—we’ll go away together.” She cries and pleads to go back to Saras.

Elsewhere, Saras and Majnu discuss their next move. Majnu remains suspicious of Sunanda, but Saras believes she wasn’t lying. Just then, Saras receives a call from Kusum. She tells him she knows he’s pretending to be the Sheikh and assures him that she hasn’t told anyone. She says, “Only Saras can cry for Kumud the way you do.” She also reveals that Kajal might know Jugnu’s hiding places and offers to help bring Kajal to him.

Back in the hideout, Jugnu confesses his love for Kumud, claiming he gave up everything for her and wants to start anew. Kumud firmly tells him she loves Saras and that no one else will ever take his place. Jugnu says he won’t force her but wants her to stop crying because it hurts him too. Kumud begs to be returned to Saras, but Jugnu refuses. “If you go back, you’ll never be mine,” he says. He tells her to rest and eat—then they’ll get married and leave for the city. Shocked and scared, Kumud watches as he locks the door behind him and leaves.
