Jhanak update Wednesday 2 July 2025

The episode begins with Shubh putting on an act and offering ₹30 lakhs to Lalon. Anuradha steps in and firmly tells him to stop pretending. She rebukes him, reminding him that he took a loan from her late husband, who had even sold his ancestral land to help him. She accuses Shubh of stealing that money and even labels him a murderer.

Despite her accusations, Shubh continues making promises. But Lalon firmly tells him to vacate the property and shift to his apartment. The crowd starts getting agitated. Choton and Mrinalini urge Shubh to acknowledge his wrongdoing. Under pressure, Shubh agrees to pay ₹1 crore. The situation escalates into a heated argument.

Anirudh intervenes, saying that if his father refuses, he himself will repay the money by taking a loan. He assures everyone that if he makes a promise, he will fulfill it. However, Appu tells him not to worry — they love him and won’t accept his money. Anuradha supports Appu and says that the matter should now be decided in court.

Shubh tries to bargain more time, but Lalon loudly declares the amount they demand is ₹15 crores. Shubh agrees to write the cheque but insists that he won’t vacate the house. Lalon stands firm and tells him he has no choice but to leave. An argument follows, and Anuradha warns Shubh to think carefully. Frustrated, Shubh storms off.

Meanwhile, Jhanak wakes up inside the locked room. She turns on the lights and tries to open the door. She calls out for Mittal. From outside, some men laugh and taunt her, saying she’s now a prisoner and that the door will only be opened to bring her food. Jhanak demands they stop the nonsense and let her out, but they refuse. Alarmed and anxious, she begins to worry about her situation.

Back at the Bose house, Shubh continues to quarrel with Bablu and Choton. Mrinalini defends Choton and takes a stand against Shubh’s accusations.

Jhanak again tries to reason with the men, telling them she has nothing of value and that kidnapping her is pointless. They finally open the door and cruelly tell her that being there is enough — hinting that Kulbhushan has sinister plans for her. They assure her they won’t physically harm her, but the psychological fear is already overwhelming. Terrified and helpless, she collapses into tears. “I’ve been kidnapped,” she realizes in despair. “I had so many dreams about this house… I was such a fool.” She prays for help, clinging to hope.

Back at the Bose residence, Tanuja tries to convince Mrinalini to marry Choton, but does so by insulting him. Shubh also tells Mrinalini not to preach morality to them.

Dadi chimes in, recalling how Shubh had constructed their grand home despite not being very successful at the time. She reminds him that his own father often questioned how he suddenly acquired so much wealth — and he never had an answer.

Back in captivity, Jhanak, now overwhelmed, begins thinking of Anirudh. She whispers through tears, “I know… you’ll recognize me the moment you see me.”
