Saras and Kumud update Thursday 3 July 2025

The episode begins with Badimaa sharing a heartfelt memory with Saras. She recalls how his mother was once pregnant and used to lovingly say that Saras’s little brother or sister was on the way. Badimaa was very happy then, but her joy was shattered when the baby was stillborn. She explains that Saras’s father was deeply upset, blaming her mother’s carelessness for the loss and never forgiving her. Saras asks if their father ever came close to their mother again. Badimaa sadly replies no, wiping away tears.

Saras questions the connection between the lost baby and Ghuman. Badimaa reveals that Ghuman was secretly watching over Saraswati and that she often thinks about Saraswati when considering Ghuman’s misdeeds. Kumud inquires more about the baby, and Badimaa describes how she held the lifeless infant in her arms.

Saras wonders if there might be some link to current events. Badimaa isn’t sure, but hearing Saras’s words made her recall the photo and the tragedy. She suggests Menka could be the key to uncovering the truth connecting the baby and Ghuman and urges Saras and Kumud to speak with her. Meanwhile, Badimaa decides to visit the hospital to gather more information and warns them not to share this with anyone at home, especially Danny, fearing how he might react.

Just then, Danny arrives and overhears the conversation. Everyone is startled. Danny admits he knows what they were discussing and apologizes to Badimaa again for any hurt he caused. Badimaa responds that she should be sorry for sharing so much earlier but admits she is proud of him for standing by the truth and opposing his mother. Danny expresses his trust in her and Saras equally. He smiles and respectfully touches her feet, receiving her blessings.

Badimaa decides to visit the temple to thank the Lord and leaves. Meanwhile, Kalika meets with some men, confessing that although she arranged some money, everything has gone wrong. One of the men demands repayment, but Kalika begs for more time, insisting she has no jewelry left. He suggests playing cards—if she wins, she gets more time; if she loses, they will come to her home. Kalika is shocked but agrees.

At the Desai house, Vidyachatur asks Guniyal to bring mango pickle for Kumud and invites Danny to eat mangoes, but Danny declines. Vidyachatur gently encourages Danny, acknowledging his troubles. Danny confesses his shame about his mother’s actions and how hard it is to believe. Vidyachatur advises him not to feel weak, explaining that Saras didn’t confront Ghuman, but now that they are united, Ghuman cannot harm them. He reminds Danny that supporting the truth is what matters.

Vidya urges Danny to forgive his mother despite everything because she is still his mother. He tastes the mangoes and calls Kumud and Saras to join them. Meanwhile, Kalika happily plays cards, revealing a king, but Dinesh Bhai has three aces and declares the game over. Kalika pleads for a day’s delay, fearing what her family would think if they knew she lost. Dinesh agrees but warns her not to try to escape.

Yash discusses with Vidyachatur the idea of sending couples abroad. Vidyachatur prefers giving them meaningful gifts to strengthen their relationships. When he notices Danny, he changes the subject. Yash senses this and comments on how well Danny is acting. Kumud calls Menka, who hesitates to answer, worried about Kumud’s intelligence and planning to leave soon.

Back at the house, Vidyachatur asks Yash to think of a good gift idea. Guniyal suggests they think carefully, while Kusum proposes giving gold lockets like in old movies. Guniyal suggests consulting Kabir, who lives in the city. Vidyachatur is unsure how to approach Kabir, so Kusum offers to do it.

Danny arrives, causing everyone to quickly change their behavior. Kusum takes Danny aside, telling him they need to be cautious or risk getting caught. They close the door, and Danny questions her actions. Kusum points out how Kumud and Saras spend time together, and they should do the same. She hugs him and acts romantic, but then grows annoyed when he apologizes. She teases him for not expressing love romantically before, reminding him he only said “I love you” on the terrace while crying.

Suddenly, Danny’s phone rings, and Kusum receives a message. She quickly excuses herself and tells him to get his phone. As she leaves, she hints there’s a surprise waiting for him and Saras.

In the final scene, Kabir packs his bag and looks at the miniature models of the house and family members. His smile turns to anger as he eyes Ghuman’s model. He angrily tells it that though Ghuman may have ruined many lives and feels victorious, she doesn’t realize that this time, the game is against her. Her sins will weigh her down, and eventually, she will break.
