Saras and Kumud update Friday 4 July 2025

The episode begins with Yash telling his mother that he’s searching for a special gift for Danny and Saras. She asks if they gave him any gifts at his wedding. Yash replies that his wedding didn’t go well, but Saras did a lot for him. She scolds him, reminding him to recognize his place in the family. Yash warns that if she continues like this, she’ll have to beg Saras and Danny. He assures her not to worry, as Saras and Danny consider him a brother. She speaks ill of them, while Badimaa reflects on the words of Ghuman and Menka, lost in her thoughts as she walks along the road. A passerby kindly offers to help her, but she politely declines.

Yash suggests to Vidyachatur that they gift a photo frame to the brothers. Danny overhears their conversation and realizes the surprise. Yash shows them some pictures. Danny laughs and walks away. Kusum offers to ask Kumud, but Vidyachatur insists that Kumud should also be surprised. Danny places a picture of himself and Saras in his diary and calls Kusum over. When Kusum arrives, Danny asks her to fetch some cold water, but she insists on giving him normal water instead. He drinks and then asks her to check a contact in the diary. Kusum finds a cool photo of Saras and Danny, smiles, and hands back the diary. Danny watches her leave with a smile.

Kusum shows the photo to the others, and Vidyachatur approves of the idea to use it. Danny confesses he’s still troubled and asks for some time. Later, Kusum finds a gift waiting for her in her room from Danny. She opens it to find a maang tika and a note instructing her to wear it and open the cupboard. Following the note, she discovers more gifts: earrings, a necklace, bangles, anklets, each with a note telling her to wear them and come to the table. Wearing the jewelry, she approaches the window where Danny holds up a mirror and asks who the beautiful girl is. She replies, “You tell me,” then jokingly calls herself “Mrs. Danny.” She questions how he could gift her all this without saying “I love you,” and he hugs her, asking, “Will you marry me?” She says it won’t make her happy, but then he surprises her with a kiss. They share a sweet moment with an eye lock, looking adorable together.

Meanwhile, Kabir locks his room and prepares to leave the Desai house. Danny asks where he’s going. Kabir replies he has some work in the city for a few days. Danny wants to talk about their mother, but Kabir reminds him that Saras asked him not to bring up the subject. Kabir explains how their mother wronged them, and though they hide their anger, they want Danny to feel guilty. Kabir acknowledges Danny’s sensitivity and wonders how their mother could have been Ghuman’s. Danny asks how long he should wait to confront their mother, but Kabir advises patience, promising that the truth will soon be revealed. He warns that Ghuman must not find out anything and reminds Danny how fortunate he is to have Kusum, Saras, and the Desai family by his side. Danny admits he finds it hard to understand Kabir.

Elsewhere, Vidyachatur asks Guniyal if the brothers will like the gift, and she affirms but notes Badimaa seems worried. Yash inquires about Kumud and Saras; Guniyal informs him they’ve gone to Kumud’s school. They notice Kabir leaving. Kabir thanks everyone for their love and support during tough times and questions why they trust him despite not knowing his reasons. Danny agrees, saying they trust him not to harm them. Vidyachatur notes Saras and Kumud aren’t home. Kabir greets Vidyachatur and departs, promising to return.

Danny receives a call from Gupta about heading to the factory. Kalika, stressed over arranging money, prepares to leave the house. Upon opening her bag, she’s shocked but delighted to find money inside—only to realize it was her imagination. Yash arrives, asking if they’re leaving. Kalika angrily dismisses him, confidently stating nothing can happen to them. Yash explains he’s working hard for their future and asks for patience. They argue, and Kalika compares him unfavorably to Danny, regretting marrying Yash. Hurt, Yash leaves. Kalika regrets losing her temper, realizing Yash is her only hope.

Kumud calls Menka, who ignores the call. Menka celebrates finally having her ticket to Dubai, excited to get everything she wants. She gleefully tells Ghuman that her day has come. Kabir calls Menka, informing her that Ghuman is coming with him to London, never to return.
