Jhanak update Monday 7 July 2025

The episode opens with Vihaan instructing Akshat to note the truck’s license plate number. The truck driver protests, insisting he’s innocent. Vihaan then turns to Jhanak, asking if she remembers anything. She remains silent, lost in thought. Sensing her confusion, Vihaan reassures her not to worry and invites her to come with him. Akshat adds that they should head to Vihaan’s house. Jhanak, still burdened by memories of Anirudh and Arshi, feels dejected but ultimately agrees to go along. When Vihaan asks if she trusts him, she responds, “I have no other option,” and gets into the car.

Meanwhile, Lalon speaks with Tanuja and Shubh. He explains that Appu never received proper love and care growing up because of her family’s poverty. He stresses the importance of her diet, given her delicate condition. Appu somberly says she doesn’t have long to live, which Lalon quickly denies, saying that’s not what he meant. Tanuja, uninterested, says she won’t cook and tells Shubh to order food instead. Lalon refuses to eat and says there’s no time for these trivial things. He then encourages them to return home with him, leaving the decision to them.

Shubh asks if Lalon is willing to return the Bose House to them. Lalon bluntly replies no, revealing that although Anuradha had asked him to do so, he chose not to. He says Shubh is welcome to stay in the Bose House as long as he wishes, but ownership will not be returned. In fact, he adds, he’d rather give the house to Appu’s parents than to anyone else. Shubh is visibly upset by this.

Elsewhere, Jhanak is seen tenderly taking care of Vihaan’s baby. When Vihaan asks for the child, she tells him the baby is sleeping and prefers to hold him. Vihaan then offers her something to eat, but she declines. He and Akshat step away to have tea. Akshat asks Vihaan what he plans to tell his family. Vihaan says he will be honest about how he found Jhanak. Akshat warns him against doing so, reminding him that his family has been preparing for his return and to meet his wife.

Vihaan looks heartbroken and reveals that his wife died in a plane crash. Akshat, concerned, suggests that Vihaan consider remarrying for the sake of his child. Vihaan, however, refuses to move on. Akshat tries to comfort him, but Vihaan is overcome with emotion.

Elsewhere, Vihaan’s mother, Ketki, is shown excitedly preparing to welcome her son and daughter-in-law home. She is full of anticipation.

Back at the Bose household, Appu emotionally mentions how much her parents have suffered. She adds that Anjana will no longer do any chores; instead, Tanuja should take responsibility. Shubh tries to protest, saying he has no money or job. Lalon reminds him that the money belonged to his own father and refuses to return it. Shubh clarifies he isn’t asking for money. Lalon again insists that they’re free to come back only if they want, then leaves to wait outside. Shubh tells Tanuja to pack their bags—they’ve decided to return home.

Meanwhile, Mittal is seen berating the goons for letting Jhanak escape. She’s furious and worried about what might happen. She warns them not to let Kul Bhushan find out the truth. Just then, Kul Bhushan arrives and inquires about Jhanak’s whereabouts. Mittal lies, but he becomes suspicious and heads to Jhanak’s room. Finding it empty, he demands answers. One of the goons breaks and confesses how Jhanak escaped. Kul Bhushan explodes with anger and panic, fearing that if Jhanak files a police complaint, everything will fall apart. He begins crafting a false story to protect himself from the authorities.

Akshat later takes Vihaan and Jhanak to his home. Vihaan gently asks Jhanak for her name. She considers giving a fake one. Akshat asks his wife to prepare food. Jhanak tells them she has nowhere to go. Vihaan tells her that while they can’t change the past, they can at least look toward the future. Akshat then shares the full story of Vihaan’s tragedy—how he met and married Avni in the U.S., but his traditional family never accepted their relationship.

Akshat further explains that Vihaan’s family still believes his wife is alive, even though they’ve never seen her. He suddenly makes a shocking suggestion to Jhanak: that she pretend to be Vihaan’s wife, just for a few days, so his family won’t know the truth. Jhanak is stunned. Akshat tells her she would only need to act the part temporarily and care for the baby. Vihaan confirms it’s just a short-term arrangement and gently tries to convince her to agree.
