Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 8 July 2025

The episode begins with Saras and Kumud praying earnestly, joined by others around them. Saras prays to the Lord, admitting he often complains that everyone he loves is taken away, but now he asks for a miracle — to be reunited with his brother and have his family complete once again. Kumud silently prays that although Saras has struggled to move on from his mother’s loss, finding his brother would bring him happiness. Meanwhile, Badimaa prays for their journey toward the truth to be successful, and Danny silently asks for help to resolve whatever troubles Kumud and Saras are facing.

Ghuman is seen packing her bags, preparing to leave the house. Danny arrives home and notices the house seems empty. Curious, he goes to Menka’s room and finds her cupboard empty. While searching, he discovers a passport left behind, realizing Menka must have forgotten it. Meanwhile, Menka is at a lodge, reflecting quietly. She is determined to take control of everything on Ghuman’s behalf, planning to send Ghuman away on her last flight and then head to Dubai. Suddenly, she realizes her passport is missing and worries she may have left it at home.

Menka calls Danny, asking him to check if her passport is still in her room. Danny confirms he found it when he came in to turn off the lights and even tried calling her earlier. Menka suggests meeting at the market to collect it, but Danny requests she come home instead since he has a client meeting there. Menka agrees reluctantly.

Saras and Kumud continue searching for Menka, looking through a list of nearby hotels. Danny calls Saras to say Menka is coming home to get her passport, making Saras hopeful. He urges Kumud to hurry, and they prepare to meet Menka.

When Menka arrives, she calls out for Danny but finds Saras and Kumud instead. They tell her Danny has been sent out for an important task. Kumud tells Menka that what she wants—the passport—is with them. Menka asks for it quickly, explaining she’s in a rush. Kumud questions why Menka hasn’t returned her calls. Menka brushes it off, asking for the passport again.

Saras refuses to hand over the passport until Menka answers some questions. Menka wonders what they want to ask, suggesting they could discuss it later in Dubai. Saras insists it can’t wait and warns that if she doesn’t cooperate, they will involve the police. Menka reluctantly agrees to hear them out.

Saras confronts her about the events of 1993, causing Menka to tense up. Kumud explains that Saraswati gave birth to a healthy baby, but someone took that child away and raised him elsewhere. Menka is shocked and asks what they mean. Kumud reveals that Sunanda told them Menka saved Saras’s brother, leaving Ghuman with a dead baby and blaming Saraswati, which caused Laxminandan to turn his back on her. Kumud also accuses Menka and her sister of paying Sunanda to keep this secret hidden.

Menka denies everything, calling it a lie. Saras warns her to stop lying or he will reveal the truth to Ghuman, who trusts Menka deeply. If Ghuman finds out she was deceived, the consequences could be severe. Menka insists she won’t be part of their plan and demands her passport back so she can leave. Kumud urges Saras to tell her the truth.

Saras refuses. Kumud admits she doesn’t understand why Menka kept the baby, but emphasizes that he is Saras’s brother and in danger. Menka’s expression changes to worry as Kumud pleads for her to tell them, or else the baby’s life could be at risk. Menka breaks down and cries, begging them to save Kabir.

Meanwhile, Kabir meets Ghuman. He asks if she’s afraid, but she confidently says no. Kabir questions if she will be traveling in his car or hers, and she chooses hers. As they leave, Ghuman thanks Kabir, admitting she wouldn’t have dared to dream of this without him. She promises a surprise that will shock him when the time comes.

Back home, Saras reflects on Kabir. Kumud is stunned, having just seen Kabir with Menka. Menka cries out Kabir’s name, while Saras says he always felt connected to Kabir and now realizes he’s been right in front of him all along. Saras weeps, and Kumud wonders why Kabir has been acting this way. Menka confirms Kabir is Saras’s brother and begs them to save him. Kumud questions Kabir’s presence and why he never told them if he knew the truth.

On the way, Kabir flirts with Ghuman, who smiles back. She suddenly stops the car, saying she can’t travel with him on this flight because it would be too risky if anyone saw them together. Kabir asks if she’s afraid, and she denies it, explaining they can’t risk the trust of the Desai family and Danny. She promises to join him on the next flight instead. Kabir agrees but urges her to come soon, saying this will be her last wait.
