Jhanak update Wednesday 9 July 2025

The episode begins with Vihaan reassuring Jhanak that she will have a place to stay, and he promises to arrange someone to look after his baby. He offers her financial support and asks how much she would want for this responsibility. Jhanak declines any payment, saying that having a roof over her head and food is already enough. Vihaan requests her to take care of his child. Akshat comments that Jhanak is fortunate to have entered Vihaan’s life and encourages her to accept the offer. Jhanak contemplates whether it’s wise to move into Vihaan’s house posing as his wife but realizes she has no other choice and agrees.

Meanwhile, Sejal voices her opinion that Vihaan’s wife might be arrogant, while another woman counters that it’s too early to judge her. Sejal insists that Vihaan’s wife will have to take on all household chores. At that moment, Ketki arrives and inquires about their conversation. The women say they were discussing food arrangements for Vihaan. Ketki immediately suspects the topic is about Vihaan’s wife and agrees with the notion that the new woman must handle all the chores. She becomes angry, accusing the girl of trapping her innocent son and warns that she will not allow any disrespect toward the family.

Vihaan’s father suggests they should give the new woman a chance. However, Ketki is furious and vows not to forgive her, blaming her for driving a wedge between Vihaan and the family. The father reminds Ketki that she did not accept Vihaan’s wife before either, but Ketki refuses to listen. They then talk about Priyanshi’s education; Ketki believes she doesn’t need to attend college, but the father insists that Priyanshi should at least finish school first. Akshat’s wife praises Vihaan for his character.

She encourages Jhanak to accept Vihaan’s proposal, assuring her that she will later be thankful for this opportunity. Akshat echoes this sentiment, saying Jhanak will appreciate Vihaan’s kindness in time. Shubh and Tanuja return home accompanied by Lalon and Appu. Lalon asserts that Bablu and Anjana should not do any household chores as the house now belongs to him. He warns everyone not to burden Anjana with work.

Lalon makes it clear that if anyone has a problem with this arrangement, they are free to leave. He assigns duties, stating that Tanuja will be in charge of the kitchen, and Anjana will not assist her. Tanuja protests, saying she doesn’t know how to cook and won’t be able to manage. Lalon insists she must handle it. Shubh suggests hiring a cook, but Lalon refuses the idea.

Back at Vihaan’s place, Jhanak lovingly takes care of the baby, who smiles at her. She feels a connection, believing the baby has chosen her. She decides to accept Vihaan’s offer and agrees to abide by the house rules. Vihaan thanks her and assures her not to be afraid, promising to support her. Jhanak reflects deeply on the decision she has made.
