Anupama update Sunday 29 June 2025

The Episode opens with Parag entering his room, deep in thought over Anupama’s words. He crushes a walnut between his fingers in frustration. Khyati arrives and gently suggests he drink some cooling lemon juice, as his mother did, and asks how he’s holding up. He admits he misses his son Tinku—he calls, but the boy ignores him, saying he’s too busy.

Parag says he’s achieved everything life has to offer—but failed as a father. Khyati confesses she, too, wishes she could be a mother. Parag promises to make two important calls: first to thank Kanji, and second—to ensure he and Khyati never speak to that “mother-daughter duo” again, even if they beg for forgiveness. “No more ‘Jai Shri Krishna,’” he declares.

Later, Rahi and Anupama regroup at the stall. Rahi admits they thought hard and decided they won’t work for Parag again—Anupama agrees. Janki enters upset: a major client, Sarita, canceled their catering order because her husband works at the Kothari company and feared being punished. Toshu mocks Anupama’s helpful speeches. Anupama, enraged, insists she’d pay any price for dignity. Pakhi complains; Anupama snaps, calling her lazy and warning her to get back to work.

Prarthana asks Gautam if he’s heading out. He curtly responds and excuses himself on a business call about the stall, determined to break Anupama and Rahi’s pride. She pleads with him not to turn this into a power game.

Anupama quietly visits Kaveri’s shrine, tearfully recounting the injustice—how she was accused of theft simply for cutting Parag’s kite. She treasures life and respect, and fought fiercely to protect both. She fears this may only be the beginning of a new storm.

Meanwhile, Mita’s sons enjoy Anupama’s cooking. Young Badshah jests, “They think you stole?” when Anil becomes flustered, prompting reminders from Mita that Khyati herself praised the food. They plan to make a gesture of peace. Badshah teases Anupama for sweets in exchange for goodies; the younger son demands video games. Mita assures them she’ll handle it.

Prem, driving, mentally prepares himself: he’s come to confront Parag. Parag finishes a tense video call with his mother, then massages her feet as they exchange heartfelt words about doing right and being there for the family.

Suddenly, Prem storms in, calling “Parag Kothari!” Parag recognizes him—his grown-up son. Prem, tears in his eyes, breaks a glass table in anger: “I left home once, but you still know how to hurt me—from afar. By hurting Rahi and Anupama.” Shock grips the room. Prem demands a sincere apology for hurting Anupama and Rahi. Parag refuses.

Moti Baa rebukes Prem for only coming home to complain, not to reconnect. Anil urges peace. Gautam questions the demand. Prem raises his voice: Anupama is like a mother to him—she fed him, taught him, gave him a family when his own couldn’t. He vows that he will not tolerate anyone hurting her or Rahi again.

Back at the stall, Anupama worries over the financial hit from losing clients. Rahi reassures her, urging her not to dwell on the Kotharis.

Prem delivers his strongest statement yet: “If you try to destroy Anu ki Rasoi, I can do it too. You hold the power—but I can match it.” Reminding Parag he is a Kothari, Prem tells him to apologize—and then stuns everyone by announcing, “I love Rahi. I will marry her.”

The room falls silent.
