Jhanak update Sunday 22 June 2025

The episode begins with Anirudh expressing his inner turmoil. He tells Aditya that he doesn’t know how to stop Jhanak from risking everything. He confesses that although he always wanted to marry her, now he needs to do it quickly—for her protection. Aditya supports his decision and assures him he’ll attend the wedding, even if he has to rearrange his work commitments.

Anirudh shares how conflicted he feels. He tells Aditya that Jhanak stays close to him, ignoring the insults and constant humiliation, and that he’s only now beginning to understand what true love means. However, he admits feeling guilty about Arshi. Aditya sympathizes, reminding him that it’s up to him to decide whom he wants to spend his life with. Anirudh replies that the answer is clear—he’s wronged Arshi. Just then, Jhanak arrives and overhears the conversation. Anirudh quickly ends the call when he sees her standing at the door.

Jhanak confronts him, asking whether she ever asked him to go this far. Anirudh tries to explain that she doesn’t understand the entire situation. She reminds him that she agreed to be with him when he said he wanted to spend his final days with her and insists she’s only trying to help him heal. If he feels guilty for Arshi, she tells him to bring Arshi back. Anirudh insists it’s not about guilt—he has to talk to the family and move forward with the marriage as soon as possible. He urges her to understand the urgency.

Meanwhile, Arshi becomes unwell and throws up. Concerned, Shrishti asks if this has happened before. Arshi admits it has. Shrishti suspects it might be due to stress but also suggests they visit a doctor. Arshi asks why. Shrishti hesitantly mentions the possibility of pregnancy and suggests taking a test. Arshi resists the idea, recalling intimate moments with Anirudh and emotionally says there’s no chance. But Shrishti points out that it’s still possible.

Arshi breaks down in tears. Shrishti tells her that if she is pregnant, she needs to be prepared to face reality. She reminds Arshi that Anirudh no longer considers their marriage valid. Arshi says she harbors no resentment and appreciates everything her mother has done. However, she firmly says she’ll handle it on her own. When Shrishti asks what she’ll do if the pregnancy is confirmed, Arshi declares that she will keep the child—it will be her first baby.

Back with Anirudh and Jhanak, she brings up the topic of going to the doctor. Anirudh questions her urgency, and she insists that nothing is more important than his health. She then urges him to finalize the wedding date that very day. He agrees.

At the same time, Shrishti continues pressing Arshi about the consequences. She asks if Arshi really thinks she can raise the child alone. Arshi replies confidently—she says many women raise children on their own and she can do it too. Shrishti warns her not to act emotionally, saying it won’t be easy. Arshi asks if her mother is suggesting abortion. Shrishti denies it but insists on confirming the pregnancy. Arshi stays firm in her decision to raise the baby, saying that Anirudh will only understand the pain when he realizes the child is hers alone.

Later, Anirudh declares his decision to marry Jhanak immediately. Tanuja expresses outrage, referring to Jhanak as his supposed wife. Lal accuses Anirudh of crossing all limits. Anirudh calmly explains that his first marriage was incomplete, and now he wants to make it right. Bablu says he cannot support Anirudh this time, calling his decision strange. Anjana asks Jhanak to explain the urgency. Jhanak states firmly that she wants to marry right away. Dadi insults her, calling her shameless.

Anirudh defends Jhanak and his decision, stating again that he considers Jhanak his true wife. Shubh lashes out at Jhanak, accusing her of stealing his son. Jhanak denies it. Anirudh argues back, and Shubh calls on Dadi to witness what’s happening. Anirudh then announces his final decision—to marry Jhanak on the 21st. Choton expresses his support and says he and Mrinalini will attend the wedding.

Anirudh thanks him and says he knows Choton always stands by him and understands he would never intentionally do wrong. He then has a heated exchange with Lal and Bipasha. Bablu, upset, says he won’t support Jhanak this time, but Choton stops him. Jhanak, standing firm, says she’s ready to face any consequences. Dadi curses her, saying that just as she won Anirudh today, she will lose him one day. Jhanak yells, “Dadi!”—shocking everyone.

Anirudh signals her to calm down. Jhanak softens and pleads with Dadi not to say such things. She asserts that Anirudh will never leave her. He looks at her, feeling sorrowful for all she’s enduring.
