Saras and Kumud update Saturday 28 June 2025

The episode opens with Kajal reassuring Saras that Jugnu is not dangerous and won’t harm Kumud, as he genuinely loves her and is not a criminal—he even visits the temple regularly. Saras, however, insists they search all nearby temples and they leave together to begin the search.

Meanwhile, Ghuman meets Kabir, who flirts with her and says he’ll reveal what he wants—once they go abroad together. Ghuman playfully questions his motives, but laughs and walks away, unaware that Kabir has an entirely different plan in mind. He thinks to himself that Ghuman has no idea what she’s just agreed to.

On the other side, Kumud is preparing to escape. As Jugnu enters, she tries to attack him and run, managing to lock him out temporarily. However, he overpowers her and pulls her back inside. Jugnu tells her that he saved her from Sunanda and now wants to marry her because he loves her. Ignoring her protests, he forcibly ties her to a chair in preparation for a forced wedding.

Elsewhere, Danny discusses some suspicious property papers with Kusum, and they both wonder who might have helped Ghuman get them. Determined to uncover the truth, Danny heads to his car—only to find Kabir attempting to unlock it. He hides and watches suspiciously. Once Kabir leaves, Danny checks the car and discovers the original Desai house papers, confirming his doubts.

Back with Saras, he is growing anxious as they still haven’t located Jugnu. Kajal and Kusum prepare to leave before Sunanda finds them. Suddenly, Kajal spots a photo of Goddess Kali and remembers that Jugnu may be hiding near the Maha Kali temple. They quickly head there.

Danny later confronts Kabir, who openly admits to stealing the property papers. Kabir reveals he gave Ghuman fake documents and insists he did it to protect the Desai family. He asks Danny to keep this a secret until Saras and Kumud return, warning that if Ghuman finds out, she’ll launch a new scheme. He refuses to explain further.

Back at Jugnu’s hideout, he continues with the forced wedding preparations. He drapes a saree over Kumud and tries to apply sindoor (vermilion), despite her desperate pleas, telling him she loves Saras and will never marry him. Just in time, Saras breaks down the door, storms in, and beats up Jugnu. When Majnu tries to intervene, Saras shoves him aside in a fit of rage—even accidentally pushing Kumud when she tries to stop him.

Later, Saras embraces Kumud as she tearfully apologizes for coming here without telling him. She explains that Jugnu didn’t harm her and had actually protected her—pleading that they forgive him.

Emotional moments follow as SaMud (Saras and Kumud) reunite. Kumud thanks Jugnu for helping her but gently reiterates that she only loves Saras. Kajal and Kusum prepare to leave, but Saras stops them and urges them to file a complaint against Sunanda. He promises to protect them. Jugnu also pledges to help, accepting that Saras’ love for Kumud is stronger and expressing his desire to right his wrongs. Kajal and Kusum agree to cooperate.

Later, Kumud recognizes Majnu and expresses her gratitude for his help. Saras thanks him as well. Kusum asks Kumud why she came here in the first place. Kumud replies that she was chasing a hidden truth, and Saras promises they’ll uncover it together. They smile at each other as the scene ends.
