The episode begins with Arjun announcing that everyone will attend the musical event the next day. Ranbir says he can’t make any promises. Simran mentions that Shabnam will be attending, which causes Arjun to fall silent. Meanwhile, Chandan arrives home and confronts Mahua about rejecting Guru ji’s request. The two get into a heated argument. Chandan reminds Mahua that Guru ji has always made decisions in Meghla’s best interest—he adores her and has been her mentor from the beginning. Rejecting his suggestion has deeply hurt him.

Mahua stands firm, insisting that Meghla will not attend the event. Adrija and Meghla overhear the exchange. Chandan expresses how insulting it was to disregard Guru ji’s involvement, given his quiet dedication. Adrija tries to downplay the situation, claiming that Mahua didn’t say anything disrespectful and accusing Chandan of creating unnecessary drama. Chandan scolds her, asking her not to meddle in their discussion.

Meghla then speaks up, taking responsibility. She says Guru ji isn’t at fault—she herself told him she’d attend only if she went with Chandan. Chandan, upset, sends Adrija to her room. Arjun, meanwhile, says Meghla won’t be attending. Ranbir urges him to speak with Shabnam. Arjun avoids the topic, but everyone praises Shabnam’s talent. Arjun admits she’s a good person and adds that perhaps he didn’t deserve her, which is why he let her go. He declares they’ll attend the event anyway and jokingly adds that they should find a bride for Ranbir soon. Ranbir, clearly affected, says he’ll only marry someone of his choosing.

Back at home, Chandan defends Guru ji’s decision. Mahua responds that Guru ji is well aware of their family’s past pain. They argue about Meghla’s future, while Adrija silently observes. When Meghla announces she won’t go to the event, Chandan firmly tells her she will—and she’ll go with Guru ji. He then warns Mahua not to project her personal views onto Meghla’s dreams. Spotting Adrija eavesdropping, he confronts her, accusing her of informing Mahua about his earlier conversation with Guru ji. He questions whether she’s simply unable to tolerate Meghla’s success. Adrija defiantly declares that she will never accept Meghla as her sister. Chandan sternly responds that he has the right to accept or reject his children, and if he exercised that right, Adrija wouldn’t like the outcome. He reminds her that both Meghla and she are his daughters, and he will make the final decisions in their lives.

Later, Guru ji and Meghla arrive at the event. Chandan and others take their seats in the audience. Ranbir and his family are on the way, but Arjun is irritated by the delay. Harman tries to calm him, saying it’s alright to miss the beginning. They eventually reach the venue, just as Guru ji and the singer Anurag Bose begin performing. Arjun wistfully comments that Diljot would’ve appreciated the serene music. Ranbir grows suspicious and asks if Arjun is hiding something, but Arjun brushes it off.

Onstage, Guru ji begins explaining the essence of musical raags, comparing their flow to storms and breezes. He shares that singing Raag Malhar requires a unique voice and announces that one of his own students will perform next. He calls Meghla Sen to the stage. As she steps forward, her eyes meet Ranbir’s in the crowd. The tension rises.
