Saras and Kumud

The episode begins with Saras trying to talk to Kumud, who is visibly upset and ignoring him. Spotting a flower stall nearby, Saras decides to buy her some flowers to cheer her up. When he returns to the bench, he’s shocked to find Kumud missing. Anxiously, he starts searching for her, asking passersby if they’ve seen a woman matching her description.

Meanwhile, Kumud watches the same woman who earlier flirted with Saras now trying to charm another man. Realizing her mistake, Kumud feels guilty for doubting Saras and admits to herself that the woman was at fault, not him. She looks around, hoping to find Saras, but gets lost in the unfamiliar streets. Both Saras and Kumud are seen wandering through the roads separately, desperately searching for one another.

As the search intensifies, Kumud asks strangers about Saras, while Saras spots some Indian tourists and approaches them for help, describing Kumud’s appearance. One of them informs him that she went in a certain direction, and he quickly follows the lead, still calling out for her.

Elsewhere, Danny wakes up disoriented, remembering how he got injured while protecting Kalika. As he adjusts his clothes, he hears Kalika sobbing. When he checks on her, she recoils and accuses him of crossing the line. Shockingly, Kalika claims that Danny assaulted her, saying he took advantage of her despite her protests. Danny is stunned and denies the accusations, but Kalika insists that he ruined her and questions what she’ll tell Yash. Danny is left devastated by her false claim. (The narrative suggests that Kalika is lying, manipulating the situation, and casting Danny in a negative light.)

Back in the city, both Saras and Kumud return to the bench at different times, narrowly missing each other. Kumud, feeling hopeless, breaks down. Saras is equally distressed, reflecting on their argument and her disappearance.

Kalika returns home, pretending to be traumatized and violated. The family is shocked by her appearance and injuries. When they ask her what happened, Kalika points at Danny, accusing him of being the culprit. The family is stunned and in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Kumud stumbles upon a lakeside tradition where people write wishes on paper, place them in bottles, and release them into the water, hoping for miracles. A kind woman sees Kumud crying and asks what’s wrong. Kumud explains that she lost her husband and doesn’t know where he is. The woman encourages her to write a note to him and trust that it may somehow reach him. Though hesitant, Kumud agrees, writing an apology and a heartfelt plea: “Saras, I’m sorry. Please come soon. – Your Kumud.” She seals it in a bottle and releases it into the lake, praying to Goddess Ambe to unite them.

Coincidentally, Saras is sitting nearby, eyes closed, thinking deeply about Kumud and wishing he could find her. Feeling a strong sense that she’s close, he opens his eyes—and spots the floating bottle. He picks it up, opens it, and reads Kumud’s message, realizing she is near and searching for him too.
