Lost in Love update Thursday 17 July 2025
Teju earnestly pleads with her parents, Mohit and Mukta, for permission to visit Nagpur. After persistent convincing, they finally agree—but not without setting a firm rule: she must return home by 9 PM. Teju quickly promises to follow the condition and, excited, heads off in an auto.
As she rides, she calls her friend Sammy to check where she is. Still half-asleep, Sammy groggily apologizes, saying she just woke up and won’t be able to make it. Irritated but amused, Teju teases her for being lazy. Sammy just laughs and tells her, “Go alone—and if your parents catch you, just blame me!”
Meanwhile, Rituraj is getting ready for the day when Amai, Nandini, Neel, and Prachi drop by to congratulate him on his upcoming performance in the U.S. They quickly notice he’s dressed a bit too well for a casual day. Smirking, Amai asks, “So, who are you meeting today? Don’t tell me it’s that girl from Trimbak.” Nandini chuckles and waves it off, saying, “As if she’d travel all the way to meet him.” Rituraj throws back a clever remark, which only fuels their teasing.
The conversation soon shifts to marriage. Amai and the others begin poking fun at him about settling down. Rituraj, however, is clear and light-hearted in his response: “I’m never getting married.” Neel jokes, “Scared your future wife won’t let you meet fans anymore?” Rituraj laughs. “Exactly! That’s the risk I’m not taking,” he replies as he heads out with a grin, ready to meet Teju.
At the restaurant, Teju arrives first and takes a seat. A few moments later, Rituraj joins her and warmly greets her. “Did you have any trouble getting here?” he asks. Teju sighs and shares her frustration, explaining how Sammy bailed at the last minute, leaving her to travel alone. She also admits she feels uneasy for having to lie to her parents.
Rituraj gives her a reassuring smile. “Traveling teaches you a lot—it’s something you should experience more often.” Teju chuckles and says, “Try telling that to my mother.” Rituraj grins, “Challenge accepted.”
Meanwhile, back at Mohit’s house, his mother asks Satish where Aditi has gone. Satish replies that she went to play outside with some kids, then sighs, expressing his worries about his daughter’s marriage. “I can’t even start looking for a groom while Aditi is still unmarried,” he mutters. Lakshmi raises her brow and asks sarcastically, “So, if Aditi never marries, you’ll leave your daughter single forever?”
Mohit’s mother supports Satish’s view, stating that Aditi must get married first or people will gossip. Juhi, hearing this, calmly says, “I still have to finish my studies, so there’s no rush.” Lakshmi shakes her head in frustration. “This mindset really needs to change,” she says just as Aditi walks in, ending the conversation.
Back at the restaurant, Teju is surprised when Rituraj suddenly says, with a sincere smile, “You know what? I think I’ve become your fan.”
