Saras and Kumud update Monday 24 February 2025

The episode begins with Budhidhan urging Kumud to sign some papers. Kumud agrees and signs them, leaving Pramad shocked and furious as he glares at her. Saras, on the other hand, smiles. Budhidhan then hands the papers to Kumud, telling her that now she has control over her finances and no longer needs to fear anyone. Pramad, in anger, dismisses the situation, declaring that his actions were punishment for shouting at Kumud, making him a servant to her. He tells Budhidhan that everything should be in Kumud’s name.

Pramad storms off, telling Budhidhan he wants nothing from him. Kumud, confused, asks Budhidhan why all this is necessary, as she doesn’t need the money. Budhidhan explains that it’s to control Pramad before he drifts away from them. He reassures Kumud, telling her not to worry. Meanwhile, Pramad’s mother expresses concern over the transfer of rights to Kumud, feeling it was Pramad’s entitlement. She warns Kumud not to widen the gap between father and son. Kumud insists that this was done for Pramad’s sake, but Pramad’s mother refuses to support her.

Elsewhere, Danny arrives with medicine for Kumari, and Chandrika offers him food. As they chat, Danny looks after Kumari, relieved to see her fever has subsided.

Kalika confronts Pramad, asking him to stop his marriage, but Saras intervenes, warning her not to cross her limits. Kalika responds, threatening to expose Saras’ secrets if he doesn’t back off. Saras, determined to protect Kumud, decides to confront Kalika if she speaks out. He believes Kumud is suffering due to him but is resolved to silence Kalika for good.

Back at home, Pramad confronts Kumud over the papers, accusing her of winning a significant victory with both the money and Kalika’s marriage. Kumud tries to explain that Budhidhan’s actions were for Pramad’s benefit, but he is beyond reasoning. Pramad storms off angrily, and Kumud sheds tears, hoping to improve their relationship.

At the same time, Vidyachatur and Badimaa scold Danny for being around, reminding him of his past mistakes. Badimaa slaps him, warning him to stay away. However, Chandrika defends Danny, stating he saved Kumari’s life.

Kalika, in distress, calls Pramad for help regarding the marriage, but he is too angry to respond. Kalika tries to manipulate the situation, asking Pramad to do something to stop her marriage. Meanwhile, Saras listens in, feeling more resolved to stop Kalika’s interference.

In a tense confrontation, Kalika and Pramad argue, with Kalika stating she will not leave the house or marry anyone else. Saras intervenes again, warning Kalika about the consequences of her actions. He hints that Kalika has much more to lose than she realizes.

The episode intensifies as Kumud prepares for Kalika’s engagement. Kalika continues to challenge Kumud, taunting her and claiming that Pramad and she are inseparable. However, Kumud is determined to protect her marriage and ensure Kalika doesn’t succeed in her schemes.

In a dramatic twist, Kalika sabotages her own engagement by spiking the tea and making the groom uncomfortable, only to later pretend innocence. Saras and Kumud are left watching as things spiral out of control, with Kalika promising more trouble for Kumud.

In the final scenes, Kumud confronts Kalika, who leaves a letter behind, claiming she no longer wishes to marry and is leaving the house. Pramad, enraged, storms out, leaving the family to deal with the fallout.

The episode ends with Kumud exchanging a meaningful glance with Saras, silently agreeing that they must stay strong in the face of the growing turmoil.
