Soulmate update Tuesday 25 February 2025

Soulmate: The episode begins with Sachin and Anya riding in a car driven by Mangya. Sachin mentions that by the time he gets home, his father will be asleep and won’t realize he’s been drinking. He talks about visiting the bar and learning about people’s struggles. Suddenly, he shouts, startling Anya, who asks what’s wrong. Sachin brushes it off, saying he’s just sleepy but is visibly disturbed by thoughts of Sayali.

Concerned, he asks Anya to call Sayali and check if he (Sachin) is there. Confused, Anya reminds him that he is right beside her. Sachin insists she makes an excuse and calls anyway, admitting that Sayali had warned him she would leave, and he would regret it. Anya teases him for being scared, but Sachin denies it.

Meanwhile, Riya confronts Akash, upset that he didn’t tell her Sachin had hit him. Akash defends Sachin, saying his anger was justified due to the rift with Sayali. Riya, however, refuses to accept this and warns Akash that if it happens again, she will forget Sachin is his elder brother.

At Shubha’s house, Sayali shares her frustration, saying she went to talk to Sachin, but he scolded her. When Shubha insists she should return to her in-laws, Sayali declares she will only go back if Sachin comes to take her. If that’s a problem, she’s willing to leave.

Anya eventually calls Sayali, but before he can say much, she hears Sachin’s voice in the background and hangs up. Sachin becomes anxious, deciding to go straight to Sayali’s house. Despite being drunk, he confidently gives Mangya the directions. Anya points out that he could have just asked to be taken there in the first place.

Upon arrival, Sachin refuses to go inside, worried about his drunken state. He orders Anya—who is also drunk but less so—to check if Sayali is home. Anya hesitates but agrees, asking what he should say. Sachin instructs him to tell Sayali that he misses her, but Anya protests, saying he can’t lie about missing her. In response, Sachin slaps him and insists, “Tell her Sachin misses her!”

Anya knocks on Sayali’s door and introduces himself as Sachin’s friend. Sayali appears and asks if everything is fine. He awkwardly informs her that Sachin is missing. Shubha, overhearing this, gets worried. Sayali, however, quickly covers up, claiming Sachin is inside, had dinner, and is now asleep. Anya is baffled but plays along, pretending to believe her.

After leaving, Anya is left confused—Sachin is with him, yet Sayali claims he’s asleep inside. Meanwhile, Sayali explains to Shubha that Sachin is trying to reach out, but she prefers to wait until he is sober before talking. Shubha warns her to be cautious and not invite further trouble. Sayali, however, remains firm in her decision, thinking to herself that while her family worries for her, they never came to see her. She silently vows never to cross paths with Sachin again.
