Saras and Kumud update Thursday 27 March 2025

The episode opens with Saras and Kumud walking together as the song Kuch Na Kahe plays softly in the background. Saras drops Kumud at her home and watches her fondly as she enters. Smiling, he says to himself that he knows she will never leave him, even if she doesn’t express it in words. Meanwhile, Kusum watches them from the terrace, burning with jealousy. Kalika approaches her and cunningly sows seeds of doubt, suggesting that Kumud still loves Saras and will always hold on to him, no matter what.

Inside the house, Kumud looks for Kusum. Kusum confronts her angrily, questioning where she was. Kumud explains that she went to stop Danny from leaving for Dubai and had to take his passport to prevent him. Kusum accuses Kumud of interfering in her life and challenges her to uphold her own marriage by returning to Pramad instead of meddling. Badimaa enters and scolds Kusum for speaking rudely. Kusum lashes out, saying that Kumud gave her Saras without being asked. Badimaa defends Kumud, stating Saras is not an object to be exchanged. The argument escalates until Guniyal interrupts with shocking news — their father has suffered a heart attack, and they must rush to see him.

Vidyachatur calls Gyaan, asking him to take care of his father. Amidst tears, Badimaa hopes that this difficult time may bring the family closer. Kumud tries to help Kusum pack, but Kusum refuses, accusing Kumud of becoming her old self after leaving Pramad. Kumud reminds her that she left Pramad to save her own life, unlike Kusum’s situation. Kusum complains that everyone is supporting Kumud while she feels trapped. Guniyal insists that Kusum should maintain a happy appearance for the sake of their ailing grandfather. Kusum reluctantly agrees under pressure.

Vidyachatur worries about lying to his father but agrees with Badimaa that hiding the truth is necessary given his fragile health. Saras promises Vidyachatur that he will convince Danny. Initially, Danny refuses but later agrees after Saras reminds him of his promises and responsibilities towards Kusum.

Kusum bitterly applies sindoor as she prepares for the trip, while Saras and Danny follow the family car. When Yash’s car gets a flat tire, Saras instructs them to continue in his car while he stays back to fix it. Kusum continues to secretly watch Saras, which Kalika notices with amusement. Saras senses Kusum’s gaze and feels uncomfortable. While Saras is fixing the tire, he injures his hand, prompting Kumud to rush to his aid. Kusum is furious seeing them so close. Kumud cares for Saras’ wound, while Kalika smirks, feeding Kusum’s jealousy.

Kusum storms off, determined to leave, but Danny convinces her to stay. They eventually reach their grandfather’s house, where Dada ji is delighted to see everyone. Dada ji playfully teases Kusum and Danny for acting shy as a married couple and performs their tilak, officially welcoming them. Kusum and Danny are allotted a room together, much to Kusum’s displeasure. Meanwhile, Kumud and Dada ji share a sweet moment as he asks for tamarind, which she refuses, citing his health.

Later, Saras and Kumud have a playful argument over a room. Saras jokes about liking the room and Kumud, leading to a romantic moment as they accidentally get close. Saras admires her silently, and their chemistry is palpable.

Back in their room, Kusum and Danny argue again. Kusum insists that she does not love Danny and doesn’t want to fake it. Badimaa intervenes, warning them not to let Dada ji find out the truth as it could worsen his health. Kusum slips, and Danny catches her, leading to an intense eyelock, but Kusum quickly pushes him away.

Preparations for a trip to the temple begin. Kumud and Saras plan to send Kusum and Danny together, hoping it will bring them closer. Saras gifts Danny his mother’s bangles, urging him to give them to Kusum. Danny doubts Kusum will accept, but Saras encourages him.

Kalika, still plotting, taunts Kumud about rituals being for married women, but Kumud gives a fitting reply. Saras gifts Kumud his mother’s mangalsutra, saying the day he puts it on her will be the happiest for him and his mother. Kumud is touched but hides her emotions.

As Dada ji insists on fetching Kusum and Danny himself, Kumud and Saras agree, worried about his fragile state. Kusum, refusing to soften, rejects Danny’s attempt to gift her the bangles. Their argument escalates, and she throws the bangles away, shocking everyone who witnesses it, including Dada ji.

Dada ji picks up the bangles, visibly shaken. The family quickly rushes him inside as he struggles to stand. Kusum runs to her room, crying, while Danny stands helplessly. Danny later apologizes to Kumud for failing to manage the situation and returns the bangles, saying they belong to Saras’ mother. Kumud reassures him, telling him a mother never feels disappointed in her children.
