Jhanak update Friday 28 March 2025

The episode begins with Arshi arguing with Tanuja. Bipasha tries to calm her, saying, “We are all with you, please understand.” However, Arshi is furious and says she can’t bear it anymore, blaming Anirudh for the scolding she received from her mother, Shrishti. Bipasha explains that Shrishti is only worried about her, but Arshi refuses to listen. Lal adds that they will soon find out what excuse Anirudh will give this time and reminds everyone that Anirudh must follow the rules. Shubh agrees, saying Anirudh never listens to him.

Tanuja gives Arshi an ultimatum — if Anirudh refuses to move abroad, Arshi can make her own decision. If she chooses to break off the relationship, the family will also cut all ties with Anirudh. Bipasha mentions that Anirudh is unaware of Jhanak’s condition. Lal recalls Anirudh’s anger upon learning about Jhanak’s pregnancy but is puzzled as to why he is still chasing her. Tanuja suggests Arshi should follow Anirudh. Arshi says there is no point because Anirudh will do as he pleases. Frustrated, she says she will confront him, and if he doesn’t give her a clear commitment, she will leave, file a case, and demand a huge compensation. She vows to see how long Anirudh and Jhanak’s bond lasts.

Meanwhile, the doctor informs that Jhanak’s condition has improved and allows visitors. Aditya stops Anirudh and confronts him, accusing him of ruining Jhanak’s life. He says, “Jhanak didn’t call you here for help, only for information.” Aditya criticizes Anirudh for making Jhanak a maid in his house and praises her for rebuilding her life away from his toxic family. Anirudh tells him not to insult his family. Both argue as they try to meet Jhanak, causing a scene, until a ward boy intervenes.

Anirudh rushes to Jhanak and asks about her condition. He tells her that now that she has shared everything with him, she should leave the rest to him. Jhanak regrets informing him and tells him that she understands now — they cannot be together. Anirudh confesses his love, saying, “I love you, Jhanak.” She calls it a lie. He offers proof, saying he even went to the temple for her. Jhanak questions his intentions, asking why he wants to abandon Arshi for her. She tells him bluntly that if he could leave Arshi, he could just as easily leave her someday too.

Jhanak further says that she’s thankful she’s not carrying his child, or else the child would have inherited his selfishness and deceit. She promises never to involve him in her life again. Anirudh breaks down and asks what she wants. Jhanak replies, “I just don’t want you. You are not the person I want.” When he brings up Aditya, she dismisses it, saying, “That’s not important. I don’t love you. Please leave.”

Inwardly, Jhanak knows he loves her, but she doesn’t want to destroy his family. She urges him to stay with Arshi. Anirudh asks if this is her final decision, and she firmly says yes. She pretends to be strong and tells him to go. Anirudh says the doctor recommended a vacation for her. Jhanak, unable to hold back her tears, lashes out, saying she hates him. Anirudh refuses to accept it, but she repeats, “I hate you. You are a liar and selfish. Get out of my life.” The song Pyaar Jhuta Tha plays as Anirudh leaves heartbroken, and Jhanak sobs silently.
