Saras and Kumud update Tuesday 1 April 2025

The episode begins with Badimaa waking Saras up and asking about Kumud’s whereabouts. Saras says Kumud was sleeping beside him, but when they check, she is nowhere to be found. Saras, worried, searches the house and asks Danny if he has seen Kumud, but Danny hasn’t. He then suggests Badimaa check Kusum’s room. Kusum denies seeing Kumud and reflects on their recent argument. Everyone is searching for her, but Saras notices her phone is still at home, increasing his concern.

Badimaa asks Saras if he had an argument with Kumud, but he denies it, though he admits that something might have made her leave. As they continue searching, Kusum becomes nervous. Saras assures everyone that he’ll find Kumud, no matter what, and will update Guniyal and Vidyachatur to prevent them from bringing Dada ji into the situation. Badimaa calls Guniyal and informs her about Kumud’s disappearance, which leaves everyone anxious. Kalika, overhearing, relishes the tension, sensing an opportunity.

Dada ji enters and demands to know where Kumud is. Kalika tries to cover by saying Kumud is fine and that she went to give Kumud breakfast, but Dada ji remains adamant about seeing her. Saras reassures Guniyal not to worry and promises to bring Kumud back. He also asks everyone to keep Dada ji unaware of Kumud’s disappearance for now. Meanwhile, Kalika smirks, knowing that things are about to escalate.

Kusum goes to Danny’s house and tries to find any letter Kumud may have left for Saras. She finds nothing. Meanwhile, Vidyachatur, Yash, and Danny are trying to track Kumud by showing her photo around the village. Kusum eventually returns to the Desai house and, realizing no letter exists, decides to write a fake one herself to cover her tracks. She is caught when Dada ji picks up the letter, causing shock and confusion among the family.

Saras, upon seeing the letter, immediately questions Kusum about its authenticity. She nervously claims it’s Kumud’s handwriting, but Saras, suspecting foul play, says he will take it to the police. Kusum becomes anxious, fearing the consequences. As tensions rise, Saras prepares to report Kumud as missing, and Kusum, in a panic, asks him to hold off. Kalika, seeing the chaos, begins plotting further, enjoying the discomfort Kusum is feeling.

Saras and the others head to the police station, and Kusum tries to manipulate Saras by pleading for mercy. She admits to writing the letter out of anger but denies that Kumud left by choice. Saras is furious at Kusum, accusing her of pushing Kumud into a painful situation. Kusum breaks down, apologizing, but Saras remains angry, declaring that Kumud deserves better.

In a desperate attempt, Kusum runs after Saras’ car, begging for a chance to fix her wrongs. Saras hesitates but agrees to let her help in finding Kumud. The family, especially Dada ji, is growing more anxious, but Saras assures them that he will find Kumud and bring her home safely.

Meanwhile, Kalika and Yash’s mother stir up more trouble, hinting at the growing rift in the family. Kalika manipulates Kusum further, using her guilt to gain an advantage.

Saras arrives in the market, convinced that Kumud might be there. He instructs Kusum to ask people in the lanes about Kumud, hoping to find a lead. Kusum reluctantly agrees, but Saras doubts her sincerity. Still, he believes in his heart that Kumud will be found.

The episode ends with Saras and Danny keeping a watchful eye on Kusum as she searches, while Saras remains hopeful that his instincts are right—that Kumud is nearby.
