Saras and Kumud update Thursday 17 April 2025

The engagement ceremony of Saras and Kumud begins. They share loving smiles as they look into each other’s eyes. With joy, they exchange rings while everyone showers them with flower petals and claps in celebration. Meanwhile, Kumari gets an idea and signals to Kusum. Together, Kumari and Kusum nudge Saras and Kumud into each other’s arms, making them fall together playfully.

Kusum is overwhelmed with emotion and tears up seeing Saras and Kumud united. Kumari approaches her and asks if she’s okay, urging her not to cry. Kusum replies that her tears are of happiness. She realizes the mistake she was about to make—trying to separate two souls that are deeply connected. “What would I have gained from doing that?” she wonders aloud. Badimaa blesses the couple warmly, and Kumud embraces her affectionately. Yash then announces it’s time for photos.

He adds that Kalika will be taking the pictures. Kalika smiles as she captures the family photo. Later that night, Kusum lightly scolds Saras for arriving late. Everyone engages in conversation with him, and Kumud defends Saras, praising the beautiful gift he brought her. Saras explains that although he had planned everything perfectly, both tires of his car got punctured. Dadaji questions him, and Saras recounts how a stranger gave him a lift.

Badimaa asks Saras for some money, so he hands her his wallet. Kumari notices a piece of cloth inside and asks about it. It turns out to be a torn piece from Kalika’s dupatta. Seeing it, Kalika becomes nervous, fearing Yash might recognize it. Saras explains he found the fabric near the car tire.

Kusum then asks who gave him a lift. Saras says he didn’t get the person’s name, but somehow felt he wasn’t a stranger. Badimaa asks Saras for his house keys. Saras says he’s heading home because he has something valuable there—and he’s heard there’s a clever thief lurking around. Kumud smiles to herself, determined to steal it regardless of whether Saras is home or not. Kusum says she will take care of placing the sacred chunri and lighting the diya at his home.

Kusum later shares with Danny how Saras made his dramatic entrance that evening. Meanwhile, Kalika secretly follows Kusum to Saras’s house. She spots the cloth piece from her dupatta and debates how to retrieve it. As Kusum goes to get a matchstick, Kalika rushes to grab the cloth.

But she’s startled when Kusum returns. Hiding quickly, Kalika picks up the cloth. Kusum lights the diya and locks the house as she leaves, unaware that Kalika is still inside. Panicked, Kalika realizes she’s locked in. She notices Kusum’s phone, assumes she’ll return for it, and hides it elsewhere. When Kusum comes back looking for her phone, Kalika sneaks out unnoticed.

The next morning, the sisters share a light moment, laughing. Kumud jokingly tells them about how Saras had pretended to be “Tony Singh.” Dadaji arrives and asks Kumari to prepare a list for the upcoming Sangeet ceremony. Kumari says it’s already done.

When Vidyachatur asks for his phone, Kumud tells him it’s in his pocket. She then informs Badimaa that she’ll be taking breakfast to Saras. Badimaa reminds her that she’ll soon be living there anyway. Kumud replies that they all plan to go together. Kusum says she needs to clean the room, and Kumud offers to help. Vidyachatur, curious, asks where they’re off to. Badimaa smiles and says they’re up to some mischief.

At Saras’s house, the three girls arrive, much to Saras’s delight. He expresses happiness at seeing them all together. Kumari gives him flowers, and when Saras asks why, Kumud says she’ll keep them herself. Kusum and Kumari cleverly distract Saras by talking about Danny. While Saras is occupied, Kumud sneaks into his room in search of the pearl.

Kusum starts telling Saras about Danny’s habits. Saras asks her what Danny did, and Kusum complains that he snores loudly every night. Saras reacts in disbelief. Meanwhile, Kumud continues searching the room, convinced that Saras has hidden the pearl somewhere difficult to find.

Trying to stall Saras, Kumari makes funny snoring sounds. Saras, unimpressed, says he doesn’t appreciate the joke and insists on going to his room. But Kusum stops him by introducing another complaint—Danny always leaves wet towels on the bed, making it damp. She even declares she won’t stay in the same room with him. Just then, Kumud finds the pearl hidden under the bed.

Saras advises Kusum to be patient and try changing Danny’s habits. Kumud comes out and declares, “It’s done.” The girls leave. Saras quickly realizes that Kumud has taken the pearl and rushes to his room. On the mirror, he sees “Kumud Saras 3 3” written. Smiling, he writes “2” in response.

Back at home, Badimaa suspects the girls went there to steal the pearl. Saras confirms it—but assures her they only took the fake one. The real pearl is still safe with him.
