Saras and Kumud update Wednesday 23 April 2025

The episode begins with Saras sharing the match score with Kumud when suddenly the entire family approaches them. Taken aback, Saras and Kumud lower their gaze, surprised and unsure.

The family asks them to sit in the middle, surrounded by everyone. Saras admits his fault, saying he has already apologized, and questions why they are making such a big deal out of it. Dadaji announces mockingly, “Order! Let the court hearing begin.”

Kusum and Danny assume the roles of lawyers. Danny accuses Saras and Kumud of secretly meeting and leaving the house without informing anyone. Saras sternly reminds him that he’s still the elder brother. Danny insists that despite previous warnings, they broke the house rules, committing a serious offense.

Kusum steps in to defend Saras and Kumud, arguing that love justifies their actions.

Saras and Kumud exchange amused smiles. Badimaa chimes in, agreeing they must still face some punishment. Saras teases her for switching sides. Vidyachatur intervenes, accepting blame for restricting their meetings and pleads for forgiveness on their behalf.

The family applauds. But Dadaji delivers his final “verdict”  no forgiveness without punishment. He humorously sentences them to list two bad qualities about each other.

Kalika observes the scene with sarcasm, thinking the family thrives on drama. Kumud cheekily claims she can list 100 of Saras’s flaws. Saras plays along, saying she lies frequently and always puts others first, like bringing him food while skipping her own meals.

Their playful bickering continues, amusing everyone. Danny jokes that instead of pointing out flaws, they’re actually complimenting one another. Dadaji concludes by saying the punishment is over and blesses them to always love each other deeply. The family claps, and Saras and Kumud are all smiles.

Meanwhile, a mysterious man is seen looking at their photo with a tattoo visible on his arm, hinting at a new twist.

Later, Badimaa and Guniyal chat before approaching Kumud. Kalika, with false excitement, admires Kumud’s bridal lehenga. Kumud agrees it’s beautiful. Badimaa blesses Kumud and praises Saras for being the perfect match for her.

Badimaa gifts a saree to Yash’s mother and a lehenga-choli to Kalika. Guniyal shows Kalika a jewelry set meant for Kusum and mentions that Kusum’s farewell will happen alongside Kumud’s. Kumud admires the jewelry and wonders if it’s expensive.

Badimaa explains that they managed it by selling their own jewelry. Overwhelmed, Kumud hugs Guniyal. Kalika fumes silently, annoyed she didn’t receive much.

Elsewhere, Saras and Danny tidy up the house. Saras asks Danny to make a list while he heads to the shop. Saras quizzes Danny about his favorite dish in Dubai Danny correctly guesses Rajma with brown rice. Saras decides to pick that up.

In an emotional moment, Vidyachatur finds Kumud’s old childhood doll. Kumud joins him, and they reminisce together. He gets teary-eyed, realizing she’s getting married and he has to perform her Kanyadaan. Kumud hugs him tightly. Vidyachatur reassures her that he is glad she’s marrying Saras, someone so worthy, and is thankful she’s not going far.

Guniyal enters and watches the touching father-daughter moment. She teases Vidyachatur for calling it laughter while clearly crying. She takes him along, and he gently puts the doll back.

The family performs a puja at home. Kumud lights a diya, and when it flickers, she protects it with her hands, smiling warmly. They later visit Saras’s house for another ritual. Badimaa blesses Saras and entrusts him with Kumud’s happiness. Saras smiles, saying he now belongs to Kumud and these rituals only confirm their bond. Everyone laughs.

Later, Kumud calls Saras, and they share a sweet, romantic conversation. Soft music plays in the background. Saras tells her he loves her deeply. Kumud asks if he’ll grant her every wish. He agrees playfully. She demands the pearl (a personal joke between them), but Saras refuses. She pretends to get upset and ends the call, warning him not to meet before the wedding or they’ll face real consequences. Saras smiles at her dramatics.
