The episode opens with Ranbir stepping in to defend Meghla. Adrija remarks sarcastically, saying Meghla doesn’t even know how to walk properly and tells her to go back to her work. Ranbir takes the blame and says it was his mistake. Meghla quietly walks away.

Just then, Nimrit arrives and says, “You should have called me.” She checks her phone, sees missed calls, and apologizes. Ranbir reassures her, “It’s okay.” Adrija, trying to be friendly, says, “What a nice surprise! Come, I’ll introduce you to my parents.

You must eat something before leaving.” Ranbir replies, “I’ll just have a glass of water.” Nimrit adds, “We should leave now.” Adrija, gazing at Ranbir, says, “He’s quite handsome.” Nimrit teases, “Do you like him? Should I talk to him for you?” Adrija, trying to cover up, says, “No, just stay a bit longer.” But Nimrit insists, “We need to go.”

Elsewhere, Simran tries to have a heartfelt conversation with Dadu. “I hope I’m not offending you,” she begins. Dadi interrupts, saying, “He only thinks about the family’s respect.” Simran and Dadu argue. Tai ji adds, “Diljot is talented but helpless. Who will take care of her now?” Dadu assures everyone, “I’ve made all the necessary arrangements.” Meher challenges him, “Is money enough? Can it heal emotional wounds? Diljot needs someone who genuinely cares for her.” Dadu responds, “Why not? All the children are here to support her.”

Harman brings up a sensitive issue. “We know so little about Bua. Ranbir has started asking questions.” Dadu firmly says, “You don’t know the full story, and I don’t want to revisit it. Let the children live their lives. If they discover what we did, they might be led astray.”

Meanwhile, Meghla brings warm water for Guru ji, who blesses her gratefully. Ranbir watches her quietly. “I should get going,” he says. Adrija smiles as he prepares to leave, but notices a glance shared between Ranbir and Meghla. Her smile fades into anger.

Back in the living room, Simran continues, “Just because we don’t know what happened doesn’t mean the children will repeat the past. We don’t even know if it was Bua’s fault or the family’s.” Dadu declares, “This matter stays within this house. We aren’t wrong.

Both my sons stood by me.” Zoravar backs him up, “Everything was done for Diljot’s well-being.” Meher retorts, “And we can all see how well that turned out.” Balveer tries to de-escalate, “Let’s drop the topic. I think they’ve arrived.” Dadu instructs Harman and Simran not to mention any of this in front of Ranbir. Meher argues, but Dadi tells everyone to calm down. Dadu insists, “I’m Diljot’s father—I know what’s best for her. None of you understand her like I do.”

Diljot sits alone, crying. Meher asks her gently, “What happened?” Diljot says tearfully, “They didn’t take me to see my husband. I heard him singing. I know it was his voice.” Ranbir comforts her, “You promised me you wouldn’t cry.” She replies, “And you promised you’d help me find him. Please ask Dadu about him.” Balveer scolds her for bringing it up again and tells Deepa to take her away.

Meanwhile, Nimrit speaks to someone, “My friend’s sister is a wonderful singer, and my friend is amazing too. I’ll introduce you.” Back at home, Simran notices a stain on Ranbir’s shirt and asks about it. Ranbir thinks back to the moment he shared with Meghla and smiles.
